Nobody is buying white people hair. Idk where yall are getting that from. A lot of women are buying Malaysian, Peruvian, and Indian hair. I'm sorry I don't know much about weave because I don't wear it I'm just going by what I heard. You would actually have to talk to the black women that wear weave about this topic.

Does it matter what kind of hair it is? Its fake, it all looks the same (straight), and it's not a bw's natural black hair.

You're not really responding to my point. You've made it clear what other male posters have brought up in the past (albeit in a negative fashion) which is the notion of self hate being involved behind a black woman's choice to wear weave. At the time it was categorically downplayed and disagreed upon by black women. Now ITT it is in fact a matter of indoctrination and social conditioning. I'm not saying you can't be mad...that was never my point. Its just a matter of how it seems that the narrative has taken a 180 now that white people are accepting it. If you want to be outraged, be outraged. I still don't see what any of this will accomplish in the grand scheme of things.

Nah, they want to act like weave wearing is some new phenomenon that has no basis in history, but only a basis in "black women's secret desire to be white women". Well you know what I'll take as an effect of white supremacy/"forced self-hatred" something as innocuous as wearing weave over killing innocents or abandoning your offspring any day.

ask any BW why she wears weave and she'll respond with 1 of the following:

1.) it's just an accessory
2.) it's a protective style
3.) black men dont like natural hair
