Why couldn’t they leave the ship? I don’t understand this shyt at all...

It can’t be because of Covid. Who gives a shyt if they have it? This country is already infested with the virus.

Did you read the article? These were people caught up in the first lockdowns when things were complicated and these workers were from literally all over the world and all the different governments were causing all kinds of headaches.

Man...i was on deployement from jan-august with no port visits out to sea the whole time during the pandemic. I worked everyday all day on a fukkin ship. No days off literally. Boots on everyday, sleeping in a small ass rack everyday straight until it was time to pull in from deployement. That shyt was ass. Nobody went crazy surprisingly. I wonder what was the difference :francis:

Some of y’all nikkas are just incapable of understanding others :picard:

straight psycho shyt. Yall nikkas think it was regular schedule buffets and comedy shows during a quarantine on a ship?? Plus they are the workers. If yall ever took the time to speak to them working like slaves

So no one was trying to smash to pass the time by? Something tells me getting a decent piece of p*ssy aboard the Solitude Starliner wouldn’t have been an issue.

first thing that came to my mind... I’m smashing somebody wife on this Boat!

Committing suicide would be the last thing on my mind.

RIP to my former colleagues

Yall must not understand the cruise industry, these people are not citizens and the cruise lines are unwilling to compromise on any type of solution that would cost them money. Most countries are unwilling to take in a bunch of possibly infected undocumented immigrants unless the cruise lines agree to be held accountable for them and pay for their transportation, which they are unwilling to do.

Cruise ships are registered as foreign nations to escape taxes and regulations so it makes the process more complicated than it needs to be.
