All I'm saying is if he expected the same one on one time he got with Trumps team from the Dem team, and that's the reason he declined to sit....than hes being naive about why Trumps' team was so eager to let him have a stage alone.

If I believe that he's smarter than that (and I do) then he's clearly conservative leaning in his views but pretending he's not, which I find disingenuous to his fans and supporters.

Because a united front of multiple people voicing the same shyt gives higher credence than some single person with an agenda.

If a dozen folk from the Black community get together in a discussion and agree on an agenda or a couple main points, or all voice in unison a similar vision of what they see from the Black community, then that holds weight. Or conversely, if one person voices something and the others disagree on that, but they all come together on 2-3 points, then they know what to focus on. But if just one guy has a private meeting, he's just speaking for himself and there's little evidence that his perspective is really the big-scale picture.

Exactly. Cube's group phone call could have turned into a private one afterward or Cube could have built a coalition with other rappers on the cause. Right now, Jeezy sitting next to Biden in a group conversation with Keisha Lance Bottoms thinking about progress for Atlanta. I don't think they are meeting with people privately. They want group meetings, atm.

Also, this is a major false equivalency. Cube got a private call with Jared Kushner, not Trump or Pence. Why does he want the VP elect to talk to him privately when he just talked to Trump's son-in-law?


Lastly, What came from meeting with Cube? Y'all saw how quickly Trump got Amy on the supreme court. He just signed an EO to strip worker rights. Why didn't anything from Cube materializes? He has been abusing his power for White supremacists.

Do you not understand how vital THE BLACK vote is? If we let the world know African Americans will not budge until we get ours, either parties will shake. If the Democrats want to place blacks behind Latinos, so be it, but we will not vote for them if they continue to take us for granted. If Republicans really cared about building foundation within the black community, they have to understand our struggles and show them that a leader like Trump isn't the best option.

The new members of the GOP are literally qanon conspiracists, white nationalists and borderline white supremacists. They will not be an option for at least another generation and in my book will never be an option.

You can call that what you want, but our best bet is to hold democrats feet to the fire when they hold office, but to also make sure they do hold office because if we are going to get anything worth while it's gonna be from democrats.

Are you not understanding my post? Its not just about voting republican, Im talking about being able as a community to freely go from being from just relying on democrats, to us being republican or independent if Democrats won't put us first. We shouldn't let either parties believe they can own our votes.
