They wanted to put him on a zoom call with 12 other celebrities.

That's not talking policy, that's a campaign event.

I thought y'all were against Black celebrities being used by political campaigns

Oh wait, only the Republicans

Cube went to the Biden campaign months ago.

If they wanted to talk Contract With Black America, they could, but don't just have him apart of celebrity hoshposh just to say he was there and shut ADOS up about our issues.

You liberal bootlickers are pathetic:camby:

Do you not understand how vital THE BLACK vote is? If we let the world know African Americans will not budge until we get ours, either parties will shake. If the Democrats want to place blacks behind Latinos, so be it, but we will not vote for them if they continue to take us for granted. If Republicans really cared about building foundation within the black community, they have to understand our struggles and show them that a leader like Trump isn't the best option.
The Republicans have announced since the late 1960s that they will never seriously work for the Black vote because they don't want to upset their racist White base. Republicans already control almost every state with a large Black population. Why would they give a shyt about the Black vote when they already got those states and don't want to fukk up their advantage with the White racists that control them?

Democrats are the only ones who will seriously fight for the Black vote, but in the general election they have limited incentive to move much because only a few states hinge on Black voters and each one of those states has WAY more White voters than Black voters, and Black voters are seen as low-turnout. Becoming even lower-turnout won't help that equation, it will literally make them focus on other groups even more, like pivoting to working-class or non-college Whites.

The most effective place where Black voters can influence the process is in the Democratic primary, cause Black voters dominate a LOT of Dem primary states. And that's what they did - Black voters literally brought Joe Biden to victory. If you don't like that choice, then THAT is where you have to look. For Black voters to reject the very candidate they gave the victory would teach the Dems anything at this stage.

That's why I side-eye a lot of these posters who talk about the influence of the Black vote but weren't doing shyt to support any candidate during the primaries.

The rapper, who has long been a vocal advocate for racial equality, explained that he did not agree to the call with the likes of Snoop Dogg and Run The JewelsKiller Mike because he was expecting a private call from her which he never received.

He didn't want to be a part of some rapper conference checklist. He wanted a serious discussion about his contract with black america.

yikes..

snoop dogg said he's voting for the first time in his life this year. thats good and all that he's finally taken an interest in politics but you know theres people who've been putting in advocacy work who are more qualified to speak on various issues to a vice-presidential candidate then he is.

The 1960s was also the decade where majority of the black vote shifted towards the Democrats because of JFK. However, the party was conflicted because many white democrats hated blacks. That was also the period many white racists switched parties.

Killer Mike was on the Zoom call as well, he later had a discussion with Kamala after the fact.

Isn't reaching out what Kamala did??

"They didn't do it right". Apparently...

Yeah I'm done with Cube. I've seen that type of shyt before. When cacs can leave scraps and you all over the news talmbout how happy you are to have it. But your own people reach out like you asked and its not good enough? Yeah okay....

I don't even always agree with Killer Mike, but at least he is consistent, and hes for Bernie and don't even like Biden'nem but he keep it consistent and don't start changing the rules and shyt. :yeshrug:
