The rest of the organizations you can join as you are applying to DCU to make yourself eligible for DCU. I paid $15 once when I joined.

As for deposits, I'm not too sure about that. I only do withdrawals from ATMs. For deposits I go to a random Credit Union near my job

i don't know how i missed the other organizations membership fees:snoop:

see one now for $10

My credit union (Digital Federal) gives my FICO score for free monthly. Not sure if the score is aggregated from all 3 or just applies to one specific agency.

Edit: It is Experian-specific
There are many different FICO scores. There's a Vantage Score, A FICO 2, 4, 5, 8, and 9 scores, one used for Auto loans, one used for mortgages. The ones used for mortgages are usually older model FICO scores. My FICO for mortgages was in the 770 range and my FICO 8 score was slightly over 800 so there can be a bit of difference between them. The Vantage Score is pretty much a fake FICO places like Credit Karma gives you for free. Both Amex and Discover give you FICO 8 scores. The same score they'd use to judge your application for a credit card. Usually the newer FICO models will score you higher than the older ones.

If you go with MY FICO service you can actually see all your FICO scores in one place but it cost money.

I could only qualify for a secured card cause of bad credit. But I'm reading the recommended way to go about it is only using 20% of your limit at a time.

If my card limit is 200, basically I shouldn't charge more than 40 bucks on it?

So if I have a charge of close to $40, I should pay it off right away then wait for the credit to be restored? Am I understanding this right?

you don't need to wait for the statement, you can pay off each charge as you get them. you may be able to make payments twice a week as they appear online. try to save up $300-$500 more to increase your limit.

Wyndham rewards Visa. There a fee card for 30,000 and a no fee for 15,000.

I have the IHG card also and it seems like there too much fukkery when it's time to redeem.

The Chi (South Side)
thinking about getting a apple card. that thing good or nah? @beaniemac

I have it, but have yet to use it. What's dope is u get 2% on all Apple pay purchases. And u can instantly transfer your rewards cashbacks right to your bank via iPhone as well. My boy also haves it and loves it. The titanium finish is cool tho.

Brehs should I go Capital 1 Quicksilver 1 or Venture 1
I think Venture is a travel rewards card, so if you travel frequently it will be preferable. Otherwise, Quicksilver is an OK cash back card, although it seems like when you hit a certain threshold you can only put the money towards your statement. You should go for the "non One" version of the cards if your credit score is good enough.

I’m thinking chase sapphire reserve + Amex gold is the goat combo
I thought they were targeting the same segment of the market. Wouldn't you just be cannibalizing one of the cards?
