Came back in this thread and got motivated


I was able to switch my capital on platinum to a quicksilver. Got a 3,800 CL on that one.

Applied for chase sapphire preferred and got approved for 21,000 today

When you switched to the Quick Silver did you get an increase or was $3,800 always your limit?

Take that Quick silver and run ALL of your monthly expenses through it & pay it off in full a day or two before your statement prints, rinse and repeat for 6 months and they will hit you with a nice increase. (You can get an increase every 120 days. So set a reminder.) You can do it right from the online site. Be responsible with that new Sapphire card

No I had that CL before the switch. Hard to believe that in oct 2015 I started with a $300 CL.
How long does it take for the statement to print ?

Chase are a$$holes. They gave me this Freedom Unlimited and left me with the old APR from back in 2002. It's 27.49% which is absurd. Mind you they just gave me 14.74% on the Amazon Card days later. Hell I gotta move some of this Amazon card limit over to the Freedom Unlimited just to have some breathing room on the credit limit.

Bro, log in & hit that CLI button asap! There's no hit on your credit w/ Cap1. Get that increase now, then start raping that card and hit it again in 120 days.

Your statement prints the same day every month, to find your date, log in and look for:
Last Statement Balance: ($3.12)
As of Dec. 18, 2016

Mine is the 18th so as long as I make my payment on/by the 17th, I don't get hit w/ no interest.
