you have any goals on betterment?
With betterment, there's no minimum to start a roth, but should I wait until I can put a larger opening deposit, or just say fukk it and open it asap?
you have any goals on betterment?
what you using for short term goals?Yea, that's my "retirement home" fund. Hopefully it's around $400k when I retire, so I can use it to buy whatever house I want in cash w/o touching my actual retirement funds or equity from existing property.

When you deposit into the Roth on betterment, do they take the taxes from you on the site?Eh, I don't really have any short term goals.
I already own a home, and my car is just about paid off and I've got enough cash in other accounts for any vacations or emergencies.
There's really not much else that I want.
Edit: Actually that's not true. I keep about $10k in an account with Tradeking.com in case I feel like playing with individual stocks (trades), but I haven't touched that in a while. I'm more of an investor, not a trader.

Nope. Any money you put into a Roth is already taxed so it goes in and stays whole forever. It's great.
I thought this was about ideas, opportunities etc. to become millionaires (or at least self-sufficient),
Not going thru the rat race hoping to cash out on your 401K in 40+ years
No hate breh I'm on my "never have one income stream" tip so I thought this was what the thread was about based on the title.Nothing about it but it's a big internet, start your own thread, breh.

Related question tho; Can you cash out early and parlay that into something else? What's the penalty etc.?
Yea you could cash out but the penalties would be . Lots of people do it though when they see how much they have in there. Shortsightedness... .
