I never listened to nyc rappers. I have one vivid memory of how annoying and loud they were with the yah yaah type stuff back in the gap. You couldn't help but know their songs they played the hell out them on BET.

I remember back then being in middle school and this nikka was kept singing flavor in your ear loud. He was being annoying on purpose. We had this lil substitute from my neighborhood. He sung that part over and over then right in her ear and she slapped the dog shyt out his ass. That's my Craig Mack story.

She was like a hundred pounds probably 5 feet. She slapped him hard enough to make him fall back and sit down on the bleachers.

I remember the first time I heard Flava in Ya Ear, looking at the radio like

as Mack was flowing over the bass with his well timed hesitations. It was bananas. I still nod my head to it to this day.... We recently took a lil road trip, and Flava in Ya Ear is on my USB stick that I keep a load of music on... Saw my son take off his headphones in the backseat and vibe to the beat... Kept driving like a proud poppa looking at him in the rearview mirror on some

I lived in BK but I never got the feeling that the BK streets didn't love him like that. I do know that Jerzey and Long Island niiggas rode hard for him though.
