Mack killed alot of shyt listening bakk yesterday; how did I sleep on him such:mindblown:......As a Ny'er it seems it was popular to hate him for whatever reason, maybe because of biggie ass

I didn't know people in NYC hated him. He always had this unique energy and could ride a beat with the best of them. What part of NY are you from?

Craig Mack was part of a controversial 'cult' before he died at 46: Rapper was living on an off-the-grid compound, waiting for the second coming and devoted to the teachings of self-proclaimed prophet that has been accused of molesting girls

Rapper Craig Mack, who passed away aged 46 after suffering heart failure Monday, belonged to a South Carolina church that has been called a cult, and, whose leader is accused of molesting children.

Mack, who is from New York, and had 90's hits like 'Flava In Your Ear,' was sick and knew his death was imminent according to close friends.

He had been a member of the Overcomer Ministry for most of the past decade, after turning away from his life of rap fame that started with him joining Sean (Diddy) Combs' Bad Boy Records.

'He just reached out a couple of weeks ago for me to speak on his documentary about his life. Because Craig was my rodie on tour. He would set up & break down my turntables every night on tour. Rest In Peace Lil Bro.'

I guess they couldn’t find a jail record on Craig Mack so they just had to mix in the preacher fukk ups...SMH...

It's like Charlamagne was right, you guys wait till someone passes to give them their flowers. The coli has always clowned Craig Mack and now that he's gone, all of a sudden EVERYONE was feeling him :mjlol:

sh*ts funny to me cuz you mothaf*ckas are obsessed with an artist status of whether he's "relevant" or not and that sh*t is some lame kiddy shyt. For those of us that did live through that era though, Craig Mack had a style that would've been appreciated more today than it was back then. he was "mumble rap" before mumble rap but in a sense that you can understand and dude was spitting. Just a great unique unorthodox style at that time and the reason biggie didn't like him is cuz he didn't understand his style, big was into the hardcore spitters. RIP Mack, you we're more than just the "Flava in ya ear" rapper, you had crazy joints! The foundation of Bad Boy!

i dont know if someone posted it , but the freestyle he had on funkflex over the SWAT theme with puffy and biggie was incredible, he was far better than Biggie and stopped basically midverse

that line "My styles dyslexic so dont try to read me" was always one i loved, i really do think that shyt was mostly off top

I remember the first time I heard Flava in Ya Ear, looking at the radio like

as Mack was flowing over the bass with his well timed hesitations. It was bananas. I still nod my head to it to this day.... We recently took a lil road trip, and Flava in Ya Ear is on my USB stick that I keep a load of music on... Saw my son take off his headphones in the backseat and vibe to the beat... Kept driving like a proud poppa looking at him in the rearview mirror on some

I lived in BK but I never got the feeling that the BK streets didn't love him like that. I do know that Jerzey and Long Island niiggas rode hard for him though.
