I don't think CP3 will be MVP but its clear he is helping the young guys on the Suns.

If Rubio and Oubre were still on the Suns, I don't think the team would be as good as they are now.

My only concern is the PG situation in the future. CP3 won't be around long-term. So I hope James Jones has a plan to find the PG for the future.

Which is why I was hoping he would have picked Haliburton. :francis:

We see how both of those players are performing with their new teams. There's no way that they'd have Phoenix at the record they are now instead of CP3.

I think he opts out after the year and Phoenix might as well drop the bag to try and keep him. Even if it's a 3 year deal at $35+ million I'd do it even if you have to chalk up the last year as a wash.

Wait, WHAT?

Between the Gruden Superbowl (With Dungy's guys) and the last ring what has Tampa Bay done?

Put any other QB on that team, besides Mahomes, and the Bucs don't win shyt last year.

In the words of the late great DMX

"Come on , ese.
Keep it real, homes"

:what:

tampa bay had the most stacked offensive roster and by far the best defense. i didnt see brady take any snaps on the defensive side of the ball that shut down the chiefs and kept the packers & saints at bay.

brady didnt even make the pro bowl.

QUOTE="Thavoiceofthevoiceless, post: 41552563, member: 35497"]Even if that’s the case, even you’d have to admit that they wouldn’t be the 2nd best team in the league if CP3 wasn’t on the roster. That’s MVP worthy and that’s not even accounting for how he’s helped Bookers game just as he did for SGA last year.

He essentially helped do the same thing for OKC last year when people initially thought they’d be a fringe playoff team.

Phoenix would be a 7-8 seed at best without him and that’s being generous.[/QUOTE]

i agree that hes a candidate in the running.

hes certainly not gonna win tho.

How many teams have top 10 offenses and defenses each year without winning rings?

This past year Green Bay had that + the MVP of the league and no ring to show for it

If you go back the last twenty years you will find examples of teams within even higher tier offenses AND defenses and invariably no title that season

i didnt say top 10. i said NUMBER ONE defense and the most-stacked offense. i see what youre trying to do.

you can thank the bucs defense for the bolded.

what great play did brady make in the super bowl?? you cant even name one.

youre doing a disservice to your argument for CP3 by comparing him to brady.

Mad late but I agree.

CP3 should definitely be in the discussion and to be honest at this point should be the front runner.

But like everyone knows the award is a total narrative award. The media picks and chooses who the narrative should be about. CP3 could’ve won it in 2008 when he led that team to a 58-24 record with David West and Tyson Chandler

Y’all wasn’t saying this shyt before we won it all. Only Bucs fans stood on it. Talking heads were picking the Saints, Packers, Chiefs to dust us

nikkas said the Chiefs was gonna bust us makeshift o-line or not

Either way, Brady definitely wasn’t no game manager

Which team with the number defense has won a ring g in the past 10 years?

The overall point is that regardless of how their defense did, or who their offense featured, if Brady wasn't the QB they would not have won the ring.

Brady's role with the Patriots changed from his ring to his last there. What stayed the same was his consistent ability to make the right play when the situation presented itself and especially in crunch time.
Don't dismiss that like it's not the single most important thing that he brings to the table.

i dont know about who picked who, but i know people were bringing up how stacked that offense was before the season even started.

i think it wasnt until the playoffs when people realzied how great the defense was. their defense did destroy the packers in the regular season tho.

chiefs had no chance with that 2nd string o-line.

what great plays did brady make?? lesbianest, the defense, gronk or even fournette shouldve got mvp in the super bowl over brady.

im not even arguing the bolded.

im laughing at the idea that mahomes is the oinly other QB that couldve won with this bucs squad.

hell, phillip rivers couldve got a ring with this roster. he wouldnt have been able to recruit the players that came in because of brady tho.

What did Phillip Rivers win with YEARS with HoF running back, all pro full back, HoF tight end, and good defenses?
