Nah, his legacy looks different if he doesn't get injured and beats a Steph curry led Warriors. :yeshrug:
It looks different, but whether or not he would have won or lost to that Warriors team shouldn't have done anything to ruin his legacy. Bron was less formidable against that Warriors team and the majority of people don't consider his legacy ruined for that.

At this point it's between him and jokic to me. I give the edge to CP3, he has turned that whole franchise around in 1 season.

they started making the turnaround before CP3 got there and they added alot more to the team, from the front office to the head coach to other players who were added.

i dont know why people try to put everything on one player. i mean, im not saying the CP3 credit is ridiculous like the props tom brady gets for playing game manager tampa bay. CP3 certainly deserves to be in the MVP discussion but hes getting too much credit.

james jones & monty williams will likely win awards. i doubt CP3 wins MVP.

Wait, WHAT?

Between the Gruden Superbowl (With Dungy's guys) and the last ring what has Tampa Bay done?

Put any other QB on that team, besides Mahomes, and the Bucs don't win shyt last year.

In the words of the late great DMX

"Come on , ese.
Keep it real, homes"

Even if that’s the case, even you’d have to admit that they wouldn’t be the 2nd best team in the league if CP3 wasn’t on the roster. That’s MVP worthy and that’s not even accounting for how he’s helped Bookers game just as he did for SGA last year.

He essentially helped do the same thing for OKC last year when people initially thought they’d be a fringe playoff team.

Phoenix would be a 7-8 seed at best without him and that’s being generous.

Suns have the 2nd best net rating in the nba

cp3 has the best net rating on the team they have improved in close games,10 point games ,vs +.500 opponents, have beaten every top west team and have the 2nd best record in the nba

The coli stans overrated 8-27 shooting cats like rose & iverson while hating on a dude who literally improves every team he’s ever played on. Day 1 cp3 fans and real bball heads been knew the deal

edit : & top 10 in offense & defense just like the rockets & clippers were :umad:

Even if I wanted to make a case for him the fact that booker is doing what he’s doing kind of takes that away. He definitely should get 1st team all/nba consideration. I think the MVP should go to one of the Centers.

AD doing what he did didn’t stop people from thinking that Lebron deserved MVP, so it’s unfair to use it against CP3. People used every excuse in the book to up Lebron’s candidacy at the expense of AD even as he was just as worthy if not more. So you gotta keep the same consistency and don’t use the reverse argument to not give CP3 his MVP props.

He’s definitely and should make All-NBA team though at the expense of other players who’ve put up flashier numbers.

People thought Lebron deserved MVP but he didn’t get it. I don’t think they want any players to get more than 3 MVPs anymore.

Im just being realistic Paul is not winning the MVP and that is due to also having Booker. He may even get a few votes but he’s not realistically going to get it.

People on here used to clown Booker and his “empty” numbers and how they didn’t translate into Phoenix being a better team. Now those same people want to use them against CP3 in MVP voting. For the record, Booker is average career highs with CP3 as lead PG.

It shows just how bullshyt and media driven MVP voting is.
