Embiid missed too many games, even as a Philly and Joel fan, I think he should prolly be 3rd?
if Nugs finish top 4 seed without Jamal...I mean its hard to not give it to Jokic

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Chris Paul sealed it tonight :wow: 23 points in the 2nd half, scored or assisted on the suns last 10 points 1 game back of the best record in the nba.

I mean do you think they’d still be this good with Rubio running the PG position? He’s helped elevate the team and everyone around him.

And before someone brings up the 8-0 in the bubble.... Houston had a 6 game winning streak earlier in the season without Harden and look where they are now. Every team goes on winning streaks and losing streaks. That’s how the game goes. That run wasn’t going to be sustainable or carry over if Rubio was running PG instead of CP3. You can lie and pretend like it would, but you know it isn’t true.

Chris lost his mvp back in 08 when lakers beat the hornets at the end of the season for #1 seed. He is probably the most important piece for the suns now, but he not dragging his team to wins by all himself, he's more of a guy who does his thing and helps team culture.

16ppg aint getting you mvp this time

The Phoenix Suns are one of the great success stories of this season. And there’s no question CP3 has been critical. He’s done what he’s always done—elevate his team’s play. He is a winner wherever he goes. I just thought that shyt was funny that he somehow “sealed” the MVP after Phoenix clinched a playoff spot. :mjlol: There are a few guys who are in the MVP convo. I don’t think it’s a runaway. People can make their arguments. I think Jokic gonna get it but that’s just my opinion.

Ehhh honestly at this point it should be between Jokic and CP3. Embiid has missed too games and Steph’s team record takes him out of the running even with him playing all worldly. Fair or not, team records are going to come into play since everybody is putting up numbers.

The narrative is there for him to win it, but the masses seem to have already given Jokic the crown.

Jokic hacked zion in a close game vs the sorry ass Pelicans.meanwhile the point gawd hitting dagger after dagger vs 2 of the hottest teams in the league the last few weeks in back to back games (Knicks & clippers)

mpj been going ham since Murray went down too. The impressionable in the moment media gonna give it to jokic but cp3 case is stronger and he’s the real mvp based off impact.the incompetent suns who haven’t made the playoffs since 2010 got the 2nd best record in the nba put that in perspective

Honestly I think you’re downplaying the kind of year Jokic has had. The Nuggets would struggle to be a playoff team without him. The same narrative you’re using for CP3 can be used for Jokic. It’s even more impressive for Jokic because he’s a big guy. Also he has not let his team drop off even when they lost their number 2 player in Murray. MPJ has definitely stepped up but the constant throughout it all has been Jokic. Put some respect on his name.

And Phoenix wouldn't be in contention for the #1 seed in the league if Rubio was lead PG instead of CP3. I have been giving the Nuggets respect and props all season long lol. Jokic has the skills of a lead PG, so what he is doing isn't as impressive as we know how talented he is and what he can do. That's why I have been mentioning that it's a wrap on Murray's #2 spot as MPJ is going to assume that role and become the better player by the time Murray comes from injury. He's helped take some of the load and pressure off Jokic so he doesn't have to do it all offensively.

That's why I have also been mentioning the entire season of how do you determine whose the MVP and All NBA consideration if everybody is putting up numbers with nearly identical team records? Everybody can make a case and have a narrative for themselves.

MVP should come to between Jokic and CP3. Either is the right choice and no one should complain if one wins over the other.
