I had the worst flu of my life early January

I know a few ppl like that.. Knocked out by severe flu back in Jan

Some of them K.O for 2 weeks

One had returned from Hong Kong

Ppl been had the Rona and spreading it

UK numbers can't really be compared to the others.. They stopped testing except for ppl who end up in hospital.. That's why the numbers are so low

I was wondering why they only went up like 30% but deaths more than doubled. In that case it is way higher. The hell is BoJo doing?

Man this shyt appeared in China in December and at the rate it spreads I don’t see how we didn’t have it in the states almost immediately.

We have all probably had this shyt for months now, all over the world. But that doesn’t explain the death rate in Italy. That shyt is unusual.

They weren't diagnosing it as covid-19 is my guess.

They just said it was flu or pneumonia

My mother works for the city (NYC) and says they are going to decide within the next 48 hours to lock down the City totally to all non-essential business and have city workers stay home for 2 weeks.

Probably might get tested when I go back in to work. I'm pretty sure I'm good and we dont have any official cases in my county but I guess I need to be proactive about this shyt.

A lot of people on social media have been saying the exact same thing, recall having unknown respiratory flu like symptoms around October through December, me, my mom and oldest brother included. It was the worst, longest and strangest sick periods I ever had.

Ya know. I started working at the hospital around December and I got sick. First time I've ever been sick in 7 years at it was bad. Could barely breathe at night and it felt like I was choking. It came back twice in one month...

Breh all this shyt just jumped into high gear this past weekend. Landlords need to fall the fukk back with the letters and notices about rent. There’s talk about suspending evictions and haulting mortgage payments etc . More than likely something will be done for property owners as well, obviously it’s known that if renters miss rent then that will effect owners smh

Just talking with people and getting a sense on where they stand on this situation. I don’t think people taking this as serious as they should. They don’t realize this a going get a lot worse before it get better. Mark my words America will have the highest toll from the Coronavirus, more than Italy and more than China. I can tell by the way the President handling it and the nation is reacting. I say by July death toll going be high and more people will take it serious. Eventually they will come up with a vaccine and you might get it annually like the flu shot. The economy going be upside down and the way we live as we know it will change. Most likely it will be Trump versus Biden. The campaign is going to center around America’s recovery. People are just so self-centered and dim-witted they can’t even fathom the sequence of events that will transpire. Honestly, I think I expect too much out of people. When in reality the average American could careless about society, live inside a bubble, living paycheck to paycheck and financing vehicle after vehicle until they die. It is what it is.

I can see over 100k people in America dying from this

U.S. government and big tech want to use location data to fight coronavirus

The U.S. government is reportedly working with big tech to come up with ways that people’s cell phone data location can be used to combat the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

Facebook, Google, and other major tech companies are in talks with the government to examine compiling location data that would help follow the spread of the coronavirus in the U.S., The Washington Post reports. Public health officials would track this type of data to improve their understanding of how the coronavirus spreads.

The Post reports that if the data were collected, it would be anonyzed and would be presented as an aggregated dataset where researchers could analyze location trends. Officials said that the data would not be built as a government database.

Last week, Facebook, Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and Twitter attended a meeting with U.S. chief technology officer Michael Kratsios to address ways the federal government can work with the tech industry to respond properly to the coronavirus outbreak. That meeting could have resulted in the idea of using location data as a way to curb the spread of the virus.

Digital Trends reached out to Facebook and Google to comment on the reports of helping with location data. We will update this story when we hear back.

On Monday, it was reported that Israel was advocating to do the same thing for its citizens by using a secret trove of cell phone location data. The data would be used to decide who to put in quarantine based on whether they crossed paths with someone who was diagnosed with the coronavirus.
