We really should be posting positive stories in here as well. So far my state has had 31 confirmed cases. No one has died yet and 3 have fully recovered. One of those was a 86 year old woman

I believe it was created on a lab. Tested on animals and then those animals (snakes) were sold to the wet market.

Apparently the guy who sold them is in jail.

I work at a hospital my group (Data Analysts) work from full time already and our hospital tryna send anybody home they can outside of the obvious. Even it's just for a few days a weel.

here were no reported deaths from COVID-19 in children under 10, and other studies have suggested that children who are infected do not become very sick.

These are the COVID-19 mortality rates by age calculated by the Chinese CDC:

• ages 10-19: 0.2%
• ages 20-29: 0.2%
• ages 30-39: 0.2%
• ages 40-49: 0.4%

See it’s tweets like this that got people panicking becuz numbers don’t tell the whole story. The US should have way more cases than Italy becuz NYC alone has half the population all of Italy does. Which means the US should be on pace for way more deaths. But it isn’t. Being on the same trajectory as Italy says way more about them than us
