NYC’s healthcare system is one of the best but it’s already over burdened. It cannot handle a
mads influx of new patients coming in. NYC healthcare system could easily get overwhelmed. I already know people working in hospitals and it’s starting to not look good smh.

could be the only reason why there are a jump in cases is because people are getting tested now

we prob all had it at one point but many showed no symptoms recovered and got on with their life

So what we know is perception is about 3 weeks away from reality.
Things will get worse and worse and we are not flattening the curve.
All travel should be put on pause, borders closed and all stores should have some type of only so much groceries per household depending on family size.

But I get the feel that most countries are not looking at Italy and doing much.
Why is China the only country that had a goal to build a superhospital in 10 days?
Why isn't there an emergency plan to make more in country made respirators?
This is madness, I don't think any country is taking this seriously not only Trump

Remember, the world follows America's lead. The US for months said "no big deal". So folk were probably waiting on the US to figure it out and then go from there...but the US hasn't figured it out and here we are.

Yup. I was saying the numbers are going to go through the roof once we start testing everyone and folk are going to lose their minds....but it's not completely terrible cuz the % of deaths drops. We need to hear good stories though...like people who have recovered.

I work in the service industry in NY. My bar(one of the best in the city) just officially closed down until this blows over, so did a few others, soon NY nightlife will be finished as it should be at a time like this.
