“There is no world, I think, where [the effectiveness] is the same level... we had with [the] Delta [variant],” he told the Financial Times in an interview at the company’s headquarters. He added: “I think it’s going to be a material drop. I just don’t know how much because we need to wait for the data. But all the scientists I’ve talked to... are like, ‘This is not going to be good.’ ”

higher insurance premiums/no coverage for unvaccinated folks if they catch covid. If that bill ain’t partially paid up front, hospital can turn em away. Life goes on :manny:
i thought they was trying to already implement that type of thing. kind of like how smokers pay higher premiums

The whole “just live with Covid “ thing is cool, but the problem is it brings hospitals to their knees. So you can’t really just “live with it “ as cool as it sounds .
but after two years, and a fully available vaccine, the burden is on you to lay out the timeline :yeshrug: you're waiting for an illusion

5 years? 10 years?

You have to live with it. What’s the other option? Folks never have that answer. Just keep disregarding any sort of off ramp and want mandates and restrictions to continue in perpetuity. Stay home if you want. Who cares? We will move on without you

You cannot tell society to just live with something when it causes one of the most essential social institutions to not be to function .

Schools are having Covid outbreaks left and right

Hospitals are on shaky ground

If the infrastructure was there to handle the load I’d be fine with the whole “just live with it “ mantra . But as we can obviously see we’re not at that point . Just live with It just a selfish individual mindset which ignores the wider impact Covid is having .

Of course 100% isn’t coming

I work in a high risk environment ,I’m in it everyday and I’m far from a Covid worry-wart but saying just live with it isn’t true answer because if schools and hospitals are hanging on by a thread how is that a sustainable thing ? If you live in an area that isn’t experiencing this I understand your way of thinking but here that shyt isn’t going to fly

id be happy to consider the pros and cons of your answer, but you didnt give one. you're just not giving people much choice

genuine question how many people that go to the hospital have to actually be there ....

my dad was in bad shape with covid but his doctor told him definitely do not go becuz he would be stuck there and just prescribed him steroids instead , which helped a lot with the inflammation so he could breath better :yeshrug:
