Noticed it on Monday. Started having symptoms (body aches, throat/chest irritation) last Thursday. Hammered down on OTC meds over the weekend. Might not be out of the woods, but i feel as though as im recovered, other than some slight irritation in my chest cavity. I can take deep breaths and shyt.

Oh ard, bet! It’s still early.. you should be good as far as your sense most likely. Just keep getting solid rest, keep your nutrition game tight and perhaps get some cardio in if you feel up to it!

Feel well soon bro

For yall that got the rona and recovered, did anyone lose their senses of smell or taste then recover them?

This shyt is hella weird:damn:
I cant smell anything. TMI, but, I took a dump and didn't smell nada :gucci:.
Its not even like when you have a stuffed nose and your smell is diminished. Absolutely nothing registers. :mindblown:

Cant taste anything either. I cant stand eating raw tomatoes:scust:, but im eating them shyts like candy and its all good :lupe:

On the other hand, might a good time to eat all the healthy shyt I dont like :ehh:

It's a common symptom of the virus. It was initially considered rare but I believe about 30% of people who get COVID experience that particular symptom.

Ain’t been in this thread in a minute and haven’t been following much. Is it safe to go outside yet?:lupe:

Yes but follow the guidelines and if you are in high risk social situations don't expose high risk individuals (i.e. don't visit your grandparents in nursing homes etc).

Sigh, I wish physicians wouldn't say that without citing data and statistics. The potential permanent loss of taste and smell is pretty significant. It would be nice to know how many people are still waiting for their senses to return after several weeks.

Seems to be the case as I read more about it

:francis:

Like the protesters? :comeon:

ehh more so the looters...which lends more credence to that theory when you think on it :yeshrug:

*edit*

nvm...I’m scrolling down seeing more of your posts and it’s evident you’re gonna lash out @ any information that states the severity of the virus and encourages taking proactive precautions

Nah, I'm just pointing out how ludicrous some of these posts are, such as yours. You stated that people who ignore social distancing are "psychopathic" in nature, ignoring the fact that we had almost two weeks of mass non social distanced protesting. Also, run and gun looters had less exposure since they were opportunists running in and out of shops and not doing actual close quarters protesting.

Still making a ridiculous blanket statement like you did shows the perils of entrenched, simple-minded positions. There are obviously a number of reasons why people can't or won't social distance (like peaceful mass protesting) and it doesn't make them psychopaths.

Also not gloating about localized spikes in infection and death does not mean I'm downplaying the severity; I'm just not obsessed with the virus being the end of the world like I'm invested in it or something. I think the worst will happen this fall but I'm not going to beat people over the head with that belief and I'm hoping I'm wrong. I'm just going to wait and see how it plays out. Crazy, right?

Get these ones. They're the lightest, most forgiving material that I've been able to find and they stay up around your neck extremely well. I even wear them on my weekend bike rides and they don't impair my rides at all.

I literally didn’t lol

I just pointed out looters not wearing masks during “protests” lends credence to the theory the other dude posted...you can read my post again and verify that...here it is again for clarification...

I’m not sure I trust those...I have the heavy duty N95 ones...despite my complaining I’m going to stick w/ them...better safe than sorry

Rarely-Nice Liggins and that guy that was talking about getting your health up a couple pages back are spitting truth, but I think the internet has a way of making people gloss over some talking points and grabbing onto others more often than not lol

Masks are really just to slow the transmission of large viral loads. An N95 isn't going to protect you anymore than the ones I listed will. In fact '95's actually are more likely to spread the transmission because it's a one way vales that actually releases your breath into the air without any filtering. Of course this is all just my non-scientific opinion though haha
