Y'all still living in denial. It's going to be a stressful several months for many of you. Once you accept the fact that you're going to have to face this head on like you would the cold, flu or any other infectious disease you'll be able to get your life back, your sanity back. You all are about two weeks behind me though. 
The perfect solution isn't coming. Life is going on though and it will pass you by. But the Coronavirus won't. If you stay in your house until 2030 you'll likely get the virus three times. It's here to stay. You can't run. You can't hide. This is nature. Science.
You're very likely going to get it in the upcoming months. You will have family members impacted as well. Some MIGHT die. That's the new normal. Living with seasonal COVID like we do with the Common Cold and the flu is the new normal. It's the only realistic, long term option. Train your brains. Or, move to Australia, New Zealand or one of the small Asian countries where they have a society and system that is better able to control COVID. But if you're going to live in a western nation, prepare to stock up on Tylenol COVID and Flu, extra strength from now on. We'll get through this though, I promise.

All this plus they can't guarantee that the kids won't get infected.
Especially children there is no way you can have a bunch of kindergartners and 1st thorough 5th graders social distancing in a glass. Ain't gonna work with kids. Plus children spread germs and viruses like crazy. Then you have to trust parents won't send their kids to school sick (which they often do).
Finally you have potentially this strain of the virus attacking children that is mimicking the Kawasaki disease.
Folks don't understand how critical daycares and schools are to society. If they can't fully open then millions of parents can't go back to work (blue color, white color, essential workers and etc).

Yes, there needs to be testing, PPE, etc, but that doesn’t look like it’s happening anytime soon. That is squarely on the president. So you propose to basically wait till he’s out of office (hopefully) and have Biden take over the reigns? The country will be over by that point. Look, some States shouldn’t open, but the ones that are ready should. Let me ask you a question. Do you own investments? A business? You are OK having all that taken away from you due to an incompetent government? I can see why people are mad. Complete incompetence and mixed messaging will piss people off as thry see everything thry have go up in smoke.
You can’t wait for incompetent government to “figure it out” when thry are only politically motivated and morally bankrupt. Can’t open everything up, but have to start doing it immediately in the areas that are ready.
Soon, 12-18 months (from whenever someone is asked), three years, never.
Can you imagine these people? Beard down to their waist talkin bout “they said a vaccine is coming...any day now” 2 years from now in a collapsed economy waiting in line for buttered bread and water while the rest of the world economies are on year 2 of recovery doing documentaries on shythole countries like the US?

What part of there’s a deadly virus circulating outside is so difficult to comprehend? You want to open up your axe throwing business? What happens when people don’t show up because there’s a deadly virus circulating outside? It’s gonna shutter. You want to open your barber shop or hair salon or gym? What happens when a bunch of people catch this virus in your place of business? It’s gonna shutter. Economy is fukked. No saving it right now even if you opened every business up, not when 75% of your customer base is staying inside or dying on a ventilator. Let’s focus on the shyt that really matters. the thing about what you said is i could see so many people saying that youre being an alarmist. But everythign is indicating that this is more than a possible outcome.
not only that everyday i message my boy in london because im curious how the rest of the world views us. and trust your avg citizen of other countries is not viewing us as THE super power anymore since this and basically since trump.
the fact that we have been conditioned to think that the govt shouldnt interject and help people make ends meet and survive during this is crazy in a way. every modern western country is doing it without question. and these people outside of maybe a few jobs (labor jobs already in process) probably arent getting their jobs back anytime soon. and businesses arent going to get the same amount of business back anytime soon without the confidence of the people to go about living their life again. vaccine or not.
we have strange times ahead. The fact that people asked would you really want trumptio in charge during a national crisis during the election and cats still voted for him speaks volumes as to where we are.
Why the fukk are you leaving your fate up to government, an incompetent one at that? You can’t talk all over your face about flattening curves an then switch to finding a cure when a cure is 2-3 years away? There won’t be a vaccine this year, that is just stupid talk. Also, who is to say that vaccine even works? You have to live with this damn thing so ramp up testing, get PPEs, contact tracing,etc and open up the states that are ready.
My friends and family should be allowed to make their own decisions. You’d be surprised how many people would want to be in control of their own demise Rather than someone else. Why is that so hard to understand?

I had it in April , without tylenol and all the precautionary measures and natural shyt i took I wouldn't be here posting now.
I hate to be negative.... I want this shyt to be over with as few deaths as possible.....but there are a few states not disclosing infections or deaths. I don't think we'll really know how many people pass away from this
its crazy because we as citizens and even govt on numerous occasions have criticized other country for not being free and transparent because they hide information as critical as this to their citizens.
but look at us now. the masses arent even really questioning this. if i live in florida, tennessee, whereever! i would be throwing a fit you're putting everyone at risk just by doing that.
The government is completely useless but properly still want to leave their fate in their hands. People try a take precautions now that should have been taken in January. It is too late for that. You gotta deal with what’s happening now. There is no hope for US IMO. way too politically divided and no leadership.
Thry shut shyt down, thry are done. Thry open everything without testing, PPEs and an actual plan, they’re done. The government does not view its citizens as humans. Just pieces in a board. The whole world can see this.

. And judging by those standards that both you and I agreed on, no state in our country is ready to open back up. The ironic part about your “my friends and family would rather be in charge rather than somebody else” spiel is that having idiots like you running around feral, touching every fukking thing, spreading shyt, is what would lead to other peoples demise. There’s a reason the worlds been putting their dirty ass citizens on lockdown.
the crazy part to the bolded is. this si really a wide open layup for everyone in govt to have a postive legacy cemented. They could say hey we have to get together for the better of the nation. we have to give them compensation so things dont go to hell here. lets just say 2k a month or 85% of salary something i dont have specfics. we can cut back on military spending during this time because this is a global issue and we would remain mostly ahead of the curve with military tech.

upon reopening. We have testing and PPE available for everyone and protocol to allow people into public places and businesses.
we compensate a few hotels per major metro area to use their facilities for quarantining those who are positive.
I truly dont see why they feel this isnt the right thing to do. just to cover their own ass. we used to have a country where when it came to crisis' partisanship wasnt TOO MUCH of an issue.
as of right now there, IMO, is damage already done. these people who have lost their jobs and businesses arent going to magically have a job or new business upon reopening. its scary because at some point i haveto worry about my job. so we will see. but the major reason i think we are fukked is because as you said we are too divided and have absolutely zero leadership (there are leaders there but its not their time yet). when did so many people lose empathy for others is a question i have had to ask on many of occasions since 3-4 novembers ago. but even more so since march
