Every truck in the national supply chain is going to break down in the next few weeks. Companies won't be able to plug the holes by farming work out to other companies?

No one ever said every truck is going to break down. All Im saying is you arent considering all the aspects of the supply chain. Stop using hyperbole to try to prove a point. This is clearly over your head.

And no, you can't just farm work out to random suppliers. There is no money to be made for them with such low volume, one off work.

Our engine supplier isn't even operating right now...

Not at all. That is a point of contention for geographers, politicians, and the Russian people themselves. Europe wants to claim all of Russia, Asia wants to claim some of Russia. But Russia is for sure a European country, therefore I side with them on the topic.

THERE IS NO POINT OF CONTENTION.

A SIMPLE MAP OR GLOBE SHOWS
MOST OF RUSSIA IS IN ASIA.

Massive Spike in NYC ‘Cardiac Arrest’ Deaths Seen as Sign of COVID-19 Undercounting

The FDNY reported a nearly 400 percent increase in "cardiac arrest" home deaths in late March and early April, a spike that officials say is almost certainly driven by COVID-19, whether they were formally diagnosed or not.

Between March 20 and April 5, the department recorded nearly 2,200 such deaths, versus 450 in the same period last year, according to data it provided on Friday.

The numbers are dramatically higher across the board -- the numbers of calls, the number of deaths and particularly the percentage of such calls that end in death.

In just the first five days of April, more than 70 percent of cardiac arrest calls ended in a pronunciation of death every day. Some days, the numbers were up tenfold versus a year earlier -- and everyone acknowledges there's only one likely cause.

“It’s just horrendous. The numbers speak for themselves. This used to be a very, very rare thing in New York City and suddenly it’s jumped up. The only thing that’s changed is COVID- 19,” Mayor Bill de Blasio told reporters earlier this week. The city is moving to count more people in its official total, even if they were not tested for the virus.

New York City remains the U.S. epicenter of the crisis, with more than a fifth of the nation's total cases and more than a third of its deaths. As the crisis deepened, new rules advised paramedics not to bring cardiac arrest patients to hospitals if they could not be revived in the field.

Overall, the FDNY is experiencing a 50 percent increase in call volume, and has asked that people only call 911 for urgent emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, heavy bleeding or inability to breathe.

a lot of people dying at home and if they weren't tested for the coronavirus before they died, they don't get tested for it when their dead. this is going on all over the country and they're literally burying the evidence so it can't be examined.

can't someone find any data on just deaths by state?

i ventured out to aldis.. man, the amount of people wearing gloves was ridiculous. i tried telling this guy that wearing gloves touching everything with gloves spreads more germs than not and he looked at me crazy. i didn’t wear gloves except for when i pumped gas in my hard but i had hand sanitizer on deck.

and he wasn’t even wearing a mask

also some people are straight idiots, there clearly was a line outside the store since there can only be a limited amount of people in the store and this dumb ass couple just walk through the doors like they don’t see that people are in a line waiting to get it :stopitslime:

side note: i’ve become addicted to tea, and actually really have taken a liking to ginger tea! which is good because i had a bad coffee addiction, like 2-3 medium iced coffees a day and all that dairy from the cream fukked up my digestive system and creating more mucus in my lungs, so since i’ve been sick i haven’t had any! :blessed:

and i hate how expensive it is to eat healthy, i went grocery shopping and bought mad fruits, veggies, really trying to eat better after how sick i was and taking my health more seriousness and dropped 200 bucks on just me for what feels like nothing, and that was even with shopping for a lot of things at aldis (bananas, kiwis, frozen mixed fruits for smoothies etc) no wonder us americans are so unhealthy

Data can be interpreted in many ways. If you really want to break it down we can analyze where most of the cases are occuring relative to the rest of the country. Also, even though hospitalizations appear to be decreasing we're still behind in the cycle.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Someone teach me something. There are apparently not enough test kits so how are these numbers being determined? I am genuinely curious

That’s why the numbers throughout the country might not be as so. Some places that you see that do not have high cases also aren’t testing as much as other places.
