What's going to stop the trucks from rolling BTW? The workers get exemptions and are on the roads in tricks alone. People are just floating wild theories to cause panic. This is a respiratory illness it's not a natural disaster that's disrupted the supply chain.False. Let those trucks stop rolling. All that food stocked up will get ran thru real quick.
Due to the number of people in each community, I'd guess even well stocked stores have at tops two weeks of food should the trucks stop.
The talk should be around per capita numbers

There's more than a single source of food in the nation.Trucks rolling are part of a chain. A disruption anywhere in that chain can stop them from rolling. The warehouse where they pick up or drop off being shutdown due to infection can do it. The fuel supplier losing bodies can do it. And yeah they drive alone, but what about where they park and load/unload?
I'm just saying that if it gets worst those trucks can stop and that's when we'll see true hell.
WHERE IN MY POST
DID I SAY POPULATION?
I SAID SIZE AS IN LAND MASS FOOL.
PPL GETTING IT IN NYC
HAS NO AFFECT ON PPL IN NORTH DAKOTA.
IF WE'RE GOING POPULATION NUMBERS.
UK, FRANCE, SPAIN, GERMANY & ITALY COMBINED
HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF PPL AS THE U.S.
BUT WAAAAY MORE COVID DEATHS.
POINT IS SAYING THE U.S.
IS THE EPICENTER IS STUPID.
EUROPE TAKES THAT TITLE.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said he plans to issue an executive order next week with guidelines on reopening businesses in the state.
“We will focus on protecting lives, while protecting livelihoods. We can do both,” Abbott said at a news conference in Austin today.
Asked whether testing would be increased in the state in order to open up the economy, Abbott said, “Testing will be a component of it. We want to open up, but we want to open up safely.” He said more detail would be announced next week.

Every truck in the national supply chain is going to break down in the next few weeks. Companies won't be able to plug the holes by farming work out to other companies?I'm a consultant for a major semi truck manufacturer in North America, right now all operations are suspended which means we arent making parts or building trucks.
Over the past week there are literally hundreds of trucks that have been stranded in repair shops because the shops can't get spare parts.
There are levels of this that you arent considering.
