I think the numbers will start to drop, i went to 4 stores this morning to pick up some essentials and 70% of us all had on mask. The employees were constantly wiping down each basket when it was returned. All self checkout lanes were being cleaned after every use.

New York already has almost 600 deaths reported for today and it's not even 12noon over there yet. My goodness.

I know it's too late for those who are already infected, but I really hope the rate of new infections starts trending down soon.

Andrew Cuomo's conference today mentioned that hospital admissions, ICU admissions, and new intubations were all down today in NY State. It looks like in THIS part of the country we're reaching the apex as far as infections. Since there's a lag time, I guess that means we'll hit the apex for deaths in the next week or so.

Unfortunately, most of the rest of the country probably won't "catch up" for a while.

because clinics are closed
majority of the time hospitals are full because patients come to the hospitals for appointment. Now Drs are doing virtual appartments and most non essential surgeries are postponed it's "empty"

Secondly many hospital staff administrative/finance etc who can work remotely are working from home

Thirdly most hospitals are not allowing visitors, so becky with the baby who had 20 fam members come to visit her now just has her husband.

Plus even if you test positive for covid you go home, you only go to the hospital and becom ea inpatient if your symptoms are horrible
