How do you know if you’re getting legit masks?All the masks on EBay are generic and I can tell they were made recently in China.
Just go on eBay and look for sellers in the US that aren’t selling those generic looking Chinese masks. You don’t know what you’re really getting on the quality side. A lot of these sellers are using American addresses like Pomona, CA, but they are still coming from China. Plus, you don’t know when you’ll finally receive them. Gotta do some research and look up the seller.
Like I said earlier, look for quality brands like 3M, Gerson, HDX, etc. You can still get like 2 for 35 from some sellers who are breaking up boxes, but prices have escalated in the last few days. I have a 10 pack of 3M 8511 N95 respirators and a 15 pack of HDX N95s I bought in early February. Best move ever.
Next best thing to N95 masks are Level 3 procedure masks which are also on eBay. They cost a grip and some come with the face shield. Boxes of 50 usually
Homemade masks haven’t been proven to filter out CV, but it’s better than nothing. Who knows? Maybe it does help vs tiny amounts, so definitely use something. Something is always better than nothing. Don’t be like these rednecks outchea that don’t give a fukk

Also, I couldn’t sleep so started reading up on some corona shyt and how different countries are doing. It actually helps to read all the info rather than have the tv media force feed you shyt. Felt less depressed. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes that the media doesn’t talk about for some reasons. Almost like they want to spread fear. No doubt this shyt is still scary and there’s a lot to be done but if you watch the major news outlets they really make it feel apocalyptic, hopeless, like there is no progress.
