The actual death rate is likely less than the fear mongers wish it to be as it is suspected that many more people have, or had, the virus with either no symptoms or mild symptoms and recovered without testing or a visit to the doctor. It's amazing that certain people seem to actively hope for a global pandemic event and have invested themselves in each ailment of the week that has presented itself. I get human nature tends to lead towards pessimism, but the "everyone has a voice" era that social media has ushered in has created a Doomsday Olympics where even the supposed experts can't resist making mildly sensationalist tweets instead of urging caution, rational thought and seriousness and spreading useful information.

ya my stomach was hurting when I came home yesterday to the point that I googled “is diarrhea a symptom of the coronavirus” and oftentimes it is...doctors say it lasts from 1-5 days in some patients...I didn’t panic tho cuz I drank like shyt the nite before then ate some eggs that same morning...I only had a one time bout w/ the bathroom so I sincerely don’t think it was anything serious...still tho the information was interesting to read bcuz I remembered a couple posters in here who were concerned they had corona and were asking if diarrhea was a part of it
