Idk this is a lot of bullshyt so they should shoot it down but Idk this court is dirtythe right-wing supreme court will uphold this ruling, thats their entire strategy. bring lawsuits that seem unwinnable but with the ultimate goal of appealing it in a higher court with their ideological peers in power to give them a favorable ruling.
I see what you are saying but I think you are missing the point. IMO I think people are upset that Dems don't put up a fight and just watch republicans do what they do. Multiple times Dems had the White House and control of congress and did nothing to prevent this. Republicans intentions have been the same for a long time so it's nothing new.The amount of stupid in this thread is fascinating.
Republican judge and legal counsel do this, stemming from voting redistricting, yet its biden and dems fault because what again?
They didnt stop the a appeals circuit court from ruling against it? Is that an argument ?
They didnt teach law and government in your shyt town or did you not give a fukk?
Has to be trolling. No other way.
This isn’t funny. At all.
True but he's right. Trump packed the supreme court and conservative federal judges across the country. It's impact goes way beyond a four year term. This isn’t funny. At all.

I agree, it literally would break the concept of state action being the basis for when people can sue the government t and set a precedent that undercuts the constitution. While I agree I do wonder if this is too extreme to find 5 votes on the SC. It’s pure insanity.
But as an end goal yes you are right. Republicans want John Roberts outta there so they can have a more consistent majority. Also why a dem replacing Clarence Thomas is so essential. Gotta remove the extremists.
Political planned obsolescence in my opinionThat's the point, sis.
The 'Left' is playing Connect Four while the 'Right' is playing Elden Ring.
Partially correct. But we live in a system that goes beyond individual choices. For example, Hillary winning the popular vote and still lost. The problem is people have very little power changing the system and those in power have no intensions. Another example, I'm in the DMV area. Last election to vote for the democratic nomination for president, only Biden was on the ballot. Did I really have a choice as a voter. That's the point I'm trying to make.External Locus of Control.
If black folks are depending on milqtoast cacs to defend their basic human rights, we deserve what we get.

But, no disrepect, things like this are not at the hands of the president and congress. Or the house.I see what you are saying but I think you are missing the point. I disagree. Perfect example would be overturning abortion. I will admit conservatives have been at it for decades. However, they staked the supreme court which allowed organizations to file lawsuits to get it overturned. No different than affirmative action. The problem is dems makes excuses. Republicans will play the long game and figure it out. Yet, the people will say this or that isn't in their hands. In other words, come play checkers while others play chess. But, no disrepect, things like this are not at the hands of the president and congress. Or the house.
Yes, a prez can appoint judges in certain courts but just because a new one comes in, doesnt mean he/she can fire them.
These cases are heard and brought about through local government trying to set a precedent. The prez cant do nothing about the legal proceedings of a county or city or even state.
Otherwise known as these 20 state’s want to return to Jim Crow. Honestly some of these states barely have black people which says a lot. Montana has .5% black population. The voting rights act will likely never kick in for them, yet here they fukking are.
