By definition, for me, most women aren't funny. Or more specifically intentionally funny, more so unintentionally funny trough dorkiness/quirkiness or speaking out of character (ie. a quieter soft spoken woman reaching wit's end and abruptly saying "This is bullshyt"). It's funny but not intentionally and in the scope of her character. It's not a joke/witty remark about a specific topic/point. It's just her expressing thoughts/emotion in a way that comes off funny. That's why I don't find as many female comics funny as I do men.

To OP I'd just prefer a non sensitive woman, aka sense of humor, preferably dark humor included, but I'm not holding my breath

Humor is often a silver lining/coping mechanism, so since people in general are conditioned to care less about men, men have to be funnier but you'll find funnier women who are more complete people in terms of personality that look on the plane side of things. There's on average a negative correlation between how well rounded a woman is and how attractive she is, unless she has legitimate talent/skill
