Lol The Rock became a megastar cause of his look and promos, which couldn’t be duplicated or matched by D-Lo or anyone else.
Foley got over as a heel and face cause of his brilliant promos and creative abilities as well as the crazy bumps he would take and he was already a wrestling legend before he got to WWF.
The Big Show always has a role just like Andre always has a role cause this two were the only true giants in wrestling, and he was a former WCW champ. There have been other people similar to Kurgan’s size.

Outside of Big Show who was just big, you named 3 guys (Austin, Rock, Foley) that were savants at understanding how to connect with the audience and created their own characters.
Triple H just looked the part and made friends with the right people. There’s nothing he did that Val Venis or Billy Gunn couldn’t have done if booked in his role.

Whats funny about 1999 being "his time". Chyna was the one getting all the shine. First woman in royal rumble push. The KOTR push. HHH was being a corporate henchman doing nothing. Then summerslam came and they were legit considering putting the belt on chyna. HHH still didnt win at summerslam. Then of course he ditched her and joined stephanie and its easy to see what he did.
