Are we really in public seizure of private property territory? :leon:
Im surprised California and New York havent begun if we are:ehh: Shame on them indeed.
You are hilarious.

Whether you think so or not, the world is fundamentally about to change, and people are seeing that capitalism on it's own is toothless when it comes to these situations.

That's why the billionaire want people back out to work quickly, cause the longer it lasts, the more people see the facade of the capitalist society and the more people demand to be helped.

Public seizure of private property is a wonderful deflection. The fact of the matter is, is that this starkly shows the lack of compassion in society.

Hotels are closed...but fukk hotels...motels are closed too. Yet someone thought it made more sense to paint social distancing lines in a fukkING CAR PARK, than give these folks a motel room.

It's a societal failure. The same failure that pretends like 200k deaths is acceptable.

You are a military man. How come in the military you believe in no one being left behind but in normal society we are happy to let people die? Especially considering a lot of homeless people are war veterans.

They could easily work something out with the hotels/motels

Its not seizure of property :russ:

Grant the hotel money to pay staff and a portion of to average room rates and let the homeless stay there

Or grant all these arenas/stadiums to house people or serve as a makeshift care facility

The sports facility i work at could house at least 100 people if executed properly

FDA Issues Limited Emergency Use For Two Drugs Used To Treat Malaria

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued an emergency use authorization for chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine to treat patients hospitalized with COVID-19. [...] Do the drugs work? In its statement, HHS said: "Anecdotal reports suggest that these drugs may offer some benefit in the treatment of hospitalized COVID-19 patients. The safety profile of these drugs has only been studied for FDA approved indications, not COVID-19." The authorization is limited to patients who are currently hospitalized and weigh at least 50kg, or about 110 pounds. Under the emergency use authorization, health care providers must contact their local or state health department to access the drugs.

:snoop:All Trump had to do was wait for the FDA before opening his mouth.
I wonder what his presidency would look like if he just never spoke.

If Trump says 'its working in Sweden" ima die:mjlol:

Yahoo is now a part of Verizon Media

While Denmark and Norway closed their borders, restaurants and ski slopes and told all students to stay home this month, Sweden shut only its high schools and colleges, kept its preschools, grade schools, pubs, restaurants and borders open — and put no limits on the slopes.

In fact, Sweden has stayed open for business while other nations beyond Scandinavia have attacked the outbreak with various measures ambitious in scope and reach. Sweden’s approach has raised questions about whether it’s gambling with a pandemic, COVID-19, that has no cure or vaccine, or if its tactic will be seen as a savvy strategy to fight a scourge that has laid waste to millions of jobs and prompted global lockdowns unprecedented in peacetime.
