Close but no cigar. You are exactly right to say the US is no Italy. But I believe your uniformed superiority is kicking in. Italy has much better health car system in place. In 2008 it was ranked 2nd best in the world to handle a pandemic. The US wasn't in the top ten.

I work in NYC. There are 5G towers everywhere. I'm guessing the telecoms are prepared to turn them up and fry everyone. Anyone old or with compromised immune system will be toast. They know this.

it's too many lunatics on this site.
i've declined going to work for the past 2 weeks. i'm not taking any chances. theres no upside to going to work if i become ill. can't afford the treatment and might end up dead or living with 20%-30% less lung capacity. To me no outside activity is worth catching this virus.

Why do you think we have anything in common with China? They can lock everyone down just by ordering it. They can test everyone they want to. They were monitoring people's temps everywhere they were allowed to go. Do you see that level of scrutiny going on here?

South Korea’s govt went full technocratic. They did mass free testing, released an app to alert citizens of new cases and locations of new cases. They isolated the new cases ASAP. China went full authoritarian and lockdown the entire Wuhan province. Japan is basically an Island so it’s taking a longer time for it spread.
The problem is this virus spreads fast, has a long incubation, and hits the elderly and people with underlying conditions. Look at Italy. Three weeks ago they had 300 cases. Two weeks when they did the lockdown it was 2000 cases. Early last week it was 10,000 cases now it’s 17,000. Italy’s healthcare system is in on a breaking point. This virus has a high infection rate.
The fear is this spreads rapidly that it overwhelm our already heavily burdened healthcare system. It reach the point where you have for every 6 patients share one hospital bed. The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security says infections could hit 38 million, including 9.6 million who will need to be hospitalized, and about 33% of whom would need ICU-level care. We don’t have enough respirators to accommodate that number. We have to do what it takes to contain the spread if not our healthcare system will be looking like Italy.
This is a legit apocalyptic nightmare.

I work as an engineer dealing with radio, including towers for public safety. On my way to another city right now for a job. You're not getting fried by 5g (just another radio frequency) lol..
I've stood under microwave backhaul equipment and I've been fine along with tons of workers and engineers who have up to 40 years on the job which operated at the 300 GHz range which is much higher than 5g at 600mhz to 6 ghz. You'll be fine. Stop being a nut
