The whole time last year western media has been eagerly anticipating the massacre of African citizens by covid in an almost gleeful manner and that didnt happen so they have to juelz as to why that didn't happen. Couldn't be that there was a strong response to keep this shyt under wraps nah it has to be african incompetence. I promise you nyt in the same breath will praise euros for their response. Let's ignore that africa has 54 countries with varying data collection among other things. you combine the landmasses of the USA, China, India, Europe and Japan theyd fit into Africa
You got tons of people in these countries waiting in the back of the lines for vaccines and we're watching western people argue about whether or not to take the vaccines. These countries have pretty much hurt their already fragile economies to keep the curve low. Perhaps its time the west looks into why they have higher deaths due to misinformation spread, inequality in the healthcare system (not exclusive to them ofcourse) and people calling it a hoax in their own countries. Honestly tired of western media

on a different note I don't think we are ever going to know the true #s of infected or dead when this is over, I've heard of a few people who have gotten sick with most of symptoms and covid and just never got tested.

Excess death #'s (especially tracked specifically by state and time) and antibody tests will give a rough approximation.

From what I've seen it looks like true deaths from Covid are about 30% higher than the official numbers.
