San Diego has a massive homeless problem, all across the metro areas of the city, especially. I live in central downtown area, the filthy sidewalks, occasionally, the homeless shooting up and smoking meth on the strete, has all been whatever, but this could spread very easily, and into the shelters. 20 people died from Hepatatis A in 2017 and 2018, mostly homeless.
There needs to be testing kids available to the general public, and in bulk. I am lucky, that I have limited contact with public, but I do use Lyft, and at times MTS, but I am basically self quarantined anyway, working from home, and reading at my house, is a daily routine. But, I am anxious, as I watch the latest updates, and the general public here, is entirely unconcerned, within my social circle. They don't even follow the news, beyond social media. I am speaking to a specific demographic within my circle of friends, it's troubling. Every week or so there is one more person, it feels on the brink, but I hope it doesn't spill over.
