Per someone who would know, the FDA and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid just had an emergency call with hospitals across the country to tell them that they can create their own tests and that they are removing barriers.

Two people at work today keep repeating the bullshyt that this is way less dangerous than the flu.
Social media and the modern news media has really fukked us up friends.
Jesus. Flu has a case fatality rate of 0.1%. Covid-19 has a case fatality rate of 3.4% (unless it’s changed since I last looked). Obviously as we test more that number should thankfully decrease. Its rate of infection is also (at the minimum) 3x more.
But why do people keep saying the regular flu is worse than this? It’s not. At all.
