I know people don't want to hear it but Roman is the definition of wrong place, wrong time compounded by AWFUL booking. Whoever said Vince should run his fade was right. Honestly, all the Shield guys should. Just awful, awful. Could he have helped himself out? Maybe. But he'd be helping himself out of situations he shouldn't have been in the first place. Just a MESS.

Eh, you could say that about Cena too. How much personality did Cena have to bottle up for that seven years of terror (2008-15) run we had to endure? Rome is just gonna have to stick it out. And this is only the beginning. Once he is THE GUY he is going to go on a looooooooooooooooooooooong dominant, McMahon curated and approved run. Strap in.

Match was real underwhelming

Damn shame, that may be it for Nak, dropped the ball something terrible
Crowd really were into it in the beginning and kept on waiting and waiting for some big stuff to happen and it was a standard Smackdown level main event. They wanted to focus on the Nakamura heel turn, but how many passes is Nakamura going to get? He has been phoning it in-ring since that debut Zayn match in NXT. Nakamura been looking like a past his prime 80s Harley Race in the WWF status.

The least people can do is boo the other bad matches too. Didn't here a peep during that boring ass Styles/Nakamura match. :sas2:
Exactly, the AJ Nakamura match will go down as one of the more disappointing matches in WM history but marks won't admit it because they're both 2 mark favorites

why do they keep the belt on Brock...they give all these mania moments to a dude who doesn't care about wrestling at all...they gave him Taker's streak....then had Roman beat Taker only to lose to Brock again. Taker's streak took away what should have been a classic with Cena Taker or Sting Taker.

Cena is now a jobber so you can't even put him in a big match anymore

They wasted a potential big return or debut with that kid tagging with Braun...that moment would have worked great at some in your house PPV in 95 but this is wrestlemania

the Rhonda match should have been the main event...the crowd was just dead at the end in disbelief at how much of a shyt show this was

the structure of mania was better 10 years ago, where you still had money in the bank match

no more superstars...It's amazing this business is still in business

I don't know what the consensus here is but I ain't enjoy the show.Felt like they were trying to subvert expectations with the outcomes of Shinsuke, Asuka, and Reigns not winning or Jindar becoming the US champion. Other matches felt pointless like Taker's and the Tag Team after all the years of coming up short as The Wyatt family Harper and Rowan win the titles in a quick little match. my favorite match was probably Ronda's I don't know if everyone liked it when Strowman won the tag belts by himself, I had a feeling that was what they were going to go for. I hope they don't have Roman vs Brock in Trilogy I don't care who beats him for the belt now I just would rather he drop it.

This seemed like now or never

And that kinda flop at WM is unforgivable, i wonder how much creative control these two had on the match

Because they are both capable of so much more

This 1000%. Expected it wouldn’t live up to the hype because of aj’s MCL but Nak should have known better and taken the reigns to drive the energy in the match and it just was not there at all.

Agree 100%, Romans problems stem from Vince and the way he is booked. He's a very good talent that Vince's stubborness might have sabotaged for the rest of Romans career
