If some can show symptoms as early as one day after catching it then regardless of the average time for incubation you can make a correlation between the spike and the protests unless there's other relevant data that could be attributed to the spike.

more testing being done is why
it depends on the viral load, being in close contact with that many people they probably were exposed dozens of times speeding up the process.

the spike was probably from easter not the protest...
though i think a majority of the infected at the protest may have been asymptomatic and spread it further so we'll see another spike later this week...
Still applies not enough days for symptoms to appear then get tested
Doesn't matter testing is faulty since the PCR isn't reliable for infectious diseases.
