DDG is easily a multi millionaire, Youtubers on his level are making more than a lot of rappers these days, and he raps as well.
Is he though? I looked at his YouTube page, he has 3 million subscriber, so he gets a lot of views. But post YouTube ad changes, that isn’t as much money as it used to be. He doesn’t have any sponsors on his page. Just links to random giveaway, which are usually scams. I looked up his booking fee for shows, and most sites sat $15k. I’m sure he makes a good living, but what indicators do people have that he’s actually worth millions? Can‘t believe anything you find regarding net worth on google.
I’ve got little cousins who are into YouTubing on a much smaller level than DDG and make decent money, generally anyone in that crowd that can have 3 million subscribers, 6 million followers on Instagram, should be a multi millionaire unless they have incredibly bad spending habits.
The fact he can still charge 15k for bookings, and have 6m monthly listeners on Spotify says it all, music is a secondary career for him, he’ll make the majority of his bank from YouTube, it’s not about the sponsors that you do see is the ones you don’t see.
The likes of Joe Budden podcast are getting offered multi million deals and have a lesser following than DDG, you do the math, Kai Cenat Speedy KSI are signing deals that would put every rapper not name Drake to shame, DDG is the level below that and he’ll be making millions each year himself, undoubtedly.
Remember DDG has 3 accounts that are linked to him with over 2m subscribers, Pontiacmadeddg for his blogging, DDG for his music and the DUB family with his brother and nephew.
To put it into perspective JBP has 1.2 m subscribers, Million Dollars Worth of Game has 1.38, Revolt has 2.7.
PontiacmadeDDG has 3.25m by himself and has far less people involved.
