Eh…but decent wingers usually become great fullbacks. When you aren’t good or better than the best on the wing you could make a seamless ish transition to the defensive wing back or full back. You can have the middest of mediocre squads and look competent under the right manager/style. As weak as this Brazilian side is -and I continue to ask if there's better options at midfield because holy fukk does it look dire out there- nothing excuses playing like this for 12 months now.

After Tite made them competitive again, it's amazing to me that the CBF was like "fukk it, who cares " and let them crash like this not even a decade removed from those dark years in the mid 2010s.
