Honestly m, when i be passing by these buildings, many of them are abandoned. I never see anyone coming in or out of them. I don’t understand these prices.

Cac's don't give a fukk...:heh: They will do whatever it takes to make a profit... they will squeeze tons of transplants into these places on some bullshyt if just to turn a profit and out of towners be just throwing money into these places just to say they live in NYC...:mjlol: fukking idiots...

why apartments/condos in gentrified areas all have that square design :dahell:

That’s a beautiful loft style apartment, great light, and high ceilings. Would you rather live in an ugly glass building ?

The floor to ceiling windows are worth the price of admission.

Grew up about a half hour outside of Vallejo. Got partnas all over the Bay Area. Only moved back outchea 2.5 years ago tho....was gone from the time I was 18-26ish. Grinding. I'm back now and don't plan on leaving Cali as a whole ever again. But we can't stay in the Bay lol this shyt crazy and only getting worse

:damn:

Looking at a move within the next 2-3 years down to LA and surrounding areas or SD. Both are cheaper to live in than the Bay. Smh. where you at breh breh?

You aint gonna own shyt to pass down to your children. Who brags about paying bills and being broke? :skip:

That recession gonna have these gentrified people DEAD in the water. Gonna resemble all kinds of horror. Its a bubble that will burst something horrible.

Honestly, I don't think they will be affected like that. Most of them will suddenly "wake up", realize the city isnt all that and move back to where they came from-the suburbs or wherever they were living before. By then, you'll see a mass exodus along with empty housing and the people that will end up suffering are the working class that are still in the city, living there before and after these folks. A lot of these new transplants have something to fall back on, parents, trustfunds and etc. NYC is just a vacation spot to live at for a certain number of years than they are out.

That's why I don't get why these folks are even moving to NYC in the first place. It's all fun and games to them. They can joke around, do their bullshyt, basically not be serious about life and etc. Anybody that has the bread to move to NYC just to be "cool" is a goddamn fool.

And even worse, notice these folks literally go to the same neighborhoods as well. They literally think NYC are only the areas that are heavily gentrified or cool to go which is funny. Folks stay in Bushwick, williamsburb, greenpoint, Harlem, Astoria, Carroll heights, bed sty, crown heights, Flatbush, fort greene, washington heights, lower east side and recently the south bronx. They literally kill the culture and life out of these neighborhoods that they move in and out of. Even crazier they are literally doing or are into the same shyt/trends which spread like wildfire in gentrified areas and a lot of them have a sort of arrogance about them too. Screaming NYC but no respect for NYC at all. Ironically the same trends, spots and types of people can be found in the nearest suburb with no culture.
