So basically the strategy is to rest Bron against a good teams where we need him and let him beat up on bad teams we should be able to beat without him? Makes no fukkin sense. Why make the playoffs if you can't beat good teams at full strength?

Yet again proving you're clueless by thinking OKC is a "bad team". They're 12th in the NBA in net rating and have won 10 of their last 16, including Ws over the Nuggets, Sixers, Cavs, Mavs, and Celtics. You think the Lakers should be able to beat the Thunder with half their rotation missing (D-Lo, Beasley, Vanderbilt and Bamba weren't even with the team yet), when the Thunder have been beating great teams left and right over the last month? Plus the Lakers NEED to get these wins over teams like OKC if they want to get into the playoffs at all.

On top of that, Bron is legitimately injured and needs rest sometime - shouldn't you plan that rest strategically rather than to virtue-signal how tough you are?

He'd rather be signed to Faze than the Lakers. :scust:
I hate to say it (cause I like video games too), but pro athletes who are obsessed with video games are just not winners and always underachievers.

Look at Anthony Davis, Towns, Devin Booker, Gordon Hayward, etc. Even go across sports and look at Kyler Murray. If I'm drafting playing video games obsessively is a huge red flag. :francis:

I didn’t know he was like this!! You can legit put him on KD or booker … it’s almost not fair … almost :patrice:

I wouldn't put Book with the rest of those guys. Sauce Gardner was a demon this year too but I get your point.

nikka took off a game when we not even in the play-in for a ceremony???? :snoop:

Comeon Bron. :why:
That nikka checked out the moment Kyrie went to Dallas

You do realize that he had nagging foot pain that's caused him to miss a game pretty much every-other week, right? He's 38 years old being asked to play 36 minutes a game and his body isn't superhuman. If Lakers were in a more secure position he'd probably have sat down for 2-3 weeks right about now to let it heal, but in the situation they're in the best he can do is take a game off here and there.

Ceremony didn't have jack shyt to do with why he missed the game and I doubt the decision to have the ceremony was on Bron anyway.

And yeah, load management is always necessary for a 38-year-old player with an injury. I swear some of y'all have never played sports at a serious level in your life. It's not like "Play more games equals more wins". If you play while injured and make injuries and wear-and-tear worse, that will likely cost you wins by degrading your performance in every following game.

It's weird as hell that y'all are focusing on Bron when AD playing like shyt has actually cost them two straight games. Most of y'all claimed for the last three years that Bron should be passing the mantle to AD, but whenever he gives AD the chance and AD fumbles it, you blame Bron for that?

I just realized that Bron has spent pretty much his entire career playing with aggressive and sometimes hardheaded guards (Hughes, Wade, Chalmers, Waiters, JR, Kyrie, Westbrook) and soft or defential bigs (Zydrunus, Antawn, Bosh, Love, AD).

Worked out well enough for four rings, but he probably wishes it had been aggressive bigs and deferential guards instead.

We are sorry, we need him playing. This wasn't a back to back either.

He wanted AD, he wanted Russy.

Ain't no way AD was that mad at losing to the Thunder when he was playing terrible, and then show up the next game to continue playing terrible. He part of the reason Lakers lost both games.

He needs to go too. Taking jumpers all game while Giannis out there bullyballing nikkaz.

Does playing with LeBron create this dynamic?
