His tweet has no mentions of Analytics department which you added and his initial tweet is pretty misleading. Not having a dedicated scout for other players is not exclusive to Lakers. Many teams don't. A GM and others in FO usually handle that situation.

Edit: And coaching staffs also have scouts that do reports on other players for gameplan, which we have. They showed it many times last season during the behind the scenes show.

brehs really out here pretending the Lakers are operating with half the staff of other NBA teams :mjlol:

Reddish will be the move that the FO tried to get fans off their back and say "SEE!!!! WE'RE TRYING TO WIN!!"

Reddish is a throwaway who can't get min on the Knicks. He's not even remotely changing life for this team.. But we're so desperate for wings we'd gobble him up and give him 25+ min a game and the FO will treat him like he's a cornerstone player.. That's how desperate this team is for wings
The fukked up part is I think he'll come in and contribute right away defensively because it's THAT BAD right now. Ham needs to give him the talk and let him know hes gonna be a defensive specialist on this team and to practice hitting his catch and shoot jumpers. Hopefully he buys in. And that will translate to wins if he can keep guys like Harrison Barnes from getting to the Basket at will like they do now. If they stop after this move you know they're just tryna placate the fans. 22 days until the trade deadline. We'll see what happens

There is fair criticism of the FO but we don’t have to make up and lie on things. We have plenty in the FO that pay attention to other players. They just might not be the people they like **rambis**:sas2:

I think it's premature to say the Lakers' season is over when there are 7 teams in front of them with only 1 or 2 fewer losses and 35+ games left on the season... Especially when the Lakers are likely to get a top 15 player plus 2 rotation players back.

I've always been against going after B.Beal (Fat contract) However if Washington is within to throw in a 1st rd pk & another player... I think it's something the Lakers should consider....Beal would be a nice fit playing alongside Lebron/AD, especially late in games.

AD was playing Top 5 in the league level pre injury. If he didn't get injured he'd be in mvp discussions

I don't expect AD to play at that level coming off an injury and a 2-3 month layoff....I also think playing at that level contributed to him getting injured...I'd be happy if AD can play at a top-15 level and stay healthy for the rest of the season/playoffs.....IF AD/Lebron are both playing at a top-15 level that should be enough to get the Lakers to the postseason...Then once the postseason starts they can take it to another level.

Slap yourself.

It's a shytty contract but if it puts the Lakers in a position to win the championship, why not?

Westbrook for Beal, Morris or Hachimura, and the right to swap two first rd picks.

You wouldn't make this trade?... What is the downside?.... The Lakers are going to be over the salary cap anyways and aren't competing for a championship if they choose to trade AD/Lebron....What are the Lakers going to get in the offseason that would be better than B.Beal?
