I think the shooting is what it is. You just going to hope Bev start hitting his average (he has these last 10 games), and that Reaves and Walker keep it up. Hoepfully JTA can shoot a little better than his career average. But the team despereately needs a defensive big.

Dwight’s living his best [second] life over in Taiwan - jacking up 3s, running the offense from the post, and doing all the things he wasn’t allowed to do in the NBA.

He’s also been dealing with a knee injury which ruled him out for a number of weeks.

Even if he were to come back (which he won’t), he’s not going to be in any shape or frame of mind to adjust back to a restricted, specified role on a team that isn’t a legitimate contender. He’s closed the book on that chapter of his career.

Anyone who believes he’s going to be some savior for this team is subconsciously begging for the final nail to be hammered through.

They say the real reason they didn’t pull the trigger was because they couldn’t justify trading their final picks for 2 non stars. Because really they were still hoping to land Kyrie. Problem is you absolutely need a big like Turner if you’re going to have AD on the team....AD’s body cannot handle the pounding at the center position and he gets freakish injuries all the time anyway. That’s why u needed a big with Turner’s unique skillset because he could both compliment AD and increase his production when AD is out. He may have more value to the Lakers and their team setup than any other team in the league. He’s definitely worth that 25 mil the Lakers would have had to pay him. And Heild is an atg shooter who would have feasted with LeBron feeding him.

If these dudes were having the kind of seasons they are having now on the Lakers they are guaranteed to be sitting in 4th right now. And that’s with AD out.....and AD probably doesn’t even go out because he wouldn’t be out there putting all those miles on his body with Turner back there.

That’s that domino reaction that FO should have considered. But they are too busy star chasing....they’ll only trade for Kyrie...they’ll only trade for Donovan Mitchell....they’ll only trade for Beal....they’ll only trade for Zach Lavine. None of those nikkas help u defensively so how does that put any closer to a championship? At least with Turner and AD you got an inside outside offensive/defensive monster you wouldnt even need elite defensive wings since AD and Turner would clean up a lot of shyt inside.

And the funny thing about Kyrie is....he probably doesn’t even sign with LA anymore....his team is thriving, he’s home KD wants him there with him and Bron shytted on him. It’s really up to the Nets at this point but if the Nets make a deep run say the CF they gotta throw the bag at Kyrie and they can still offer him the most.

Meaning the Lakers are gonna be left with their dikks in their hands once again
