I agree. But the main detractor against him now from the naysayers is that he can't drag a poorly constructed squad to a winning record anymore.
No one in the league would drag this team as currently constructed to be a contender. I never understood this narrative.

With AD out this roster is very poorly put together.. KD, Tatum, Luka, Embiid, none of them are having a winning record on this team if you swapped them out with Bron

It's crazy that the Nets have more faith/trust in KD and Kyrie than Pelinka has in Bron and AD. They traded a 1st for Royce O'neale in the midst of KD's public trade request and constructed their roster with KD and Kyrie in mind. I'm sure they're gonna make a move at the deadline, too.
AD is injury prone as fukk that’s why the trust is moot.
KD and kyrie are more durable than AD at this point

Okay....If the FO/Ownership can't trust AD to stay healthy, Trade him.

See, this is all a bunch of games...We're not going to give up picks because we don't have faith in AD staying healthy..Well, trade him....But they're not going to do that because they would lose the one excuse they have for not making trades......You know what's so funny?.... Had Lebron not signed the extension. The FO/Ownership and anti-Lebron brigade would've used that as the excuse...."Bu bu but, Lebron hasn't shown that he's committed to the Lakers. So that's why Ownership doesn't want to trade the picks"........In fact, that was one of the narratives during the offseason..."Why should the Lakers trade the picks if Lebron hasn't signed the extension"

Luka, harden, jokic, etc. has been able to make playoff runs with weak ass rosters consistently

Not with this roster. Their 2nd best player is Austin Reaves or maybe Russ. There are multiple guys on the Mavs, Rockets, and Nuggets who are/were better than them

So what are we doing then? Just giving up on the season and not getting draft picks/players for a rebuild?

You have to pick a decision if your the FO, either rebuild or go all in. Those are the 2 options

I’m gonna wait to see what they do at the deadline

If they just sit there and do nothing like they did last year this is telling you that they are DYSFUNCTIONAL

There’s too many people she is listening too. Everyone has an opinion and she is not strong enough and doesn’t have the ability to make a decision on her own and plus she’s cheap and broke.

Pelinka has no say so at all

Everyone has a say and if they just sit there and not do anything again that’s all you need to know

This franchise is FINISHED as a winner

Westbrook probably will be traded to a team needing his contract cuz it’s expiring and when these bytch ass teams realizing trying to swindle us on some Lakers isn’t finna work and if he doesn’t hopefully we can resign him for cheaper and we get Kyrie this off season

These are options, and I'm curious how viable they actually are.. like does Kyrie really wanna come here? I dont trust that nikka

This team should have stuck with a similar team build as the ones from 19-20 and even 20-21 to a degree

I’m lookin at all the trades and moves, damn near all of them a L man

During Lebron's time as a LA, I can't recall the Lakers making any trades that upgraded the roster......The Drummond signing is the only thing that stands out......Sad
