@Rhakim Gamescore for WCF

Jokic 27.8
Murray 27.4

LeBron 26.9 (highest vs the Nuggets all playoffs)
AD 24.3

Major difference? Nuggets had at least 6 players that posted 10+. Lakers only 4.

DLO posted a 3.7,

He was at 10.4 in the semis and 12.2 in the first round. But to point this out absolves Bron of blame :mjlol:

:francis:

Some Canadian told me all that matters is ppg though. Wait, Bron finished the series tied with Jokic for 2nd in ppg, so we're gonna have to shift the goalpost on that one too.

Nah, it must have been his terrible shot selection, that's what they said. Except he shot 52% for the series, better than AD, while half the Laker rotation shot under 38%.

I guess his historically bad 3pt shooting cost them. Except he was literally 2 threes away from shooting 35% from 3pt for the series. The difference isn't necessarily anything more than random bad luck.

It's wild that he nearly averaged a 30-point triple double, had 40 assists to only 9 turnovers, played elite defense, only committed 6 fouls the entire series, and was the only Laker to consistently contribute every game....but takes the blame. They pick and parse everything they can. It's hilarious because one day they'll say Bron deserves the blame cause he's the best player, then the next day they'll claim AD is clearly the best player and Bron is just another guy. They have to change the narrative every day. It's incoherant.

AD really got exposed this season tho.. 3rd option at best..

Odom without the heart

High value role player. Not even a reserve all star. I better never hear the media put AD in any other light than that. And I better never hear or see any non-Laker fans try to get critical with us because of how much we shyt on Abytch.

But a lot of y’all gettin y’all hopes up. Bron is retiring a Laker y’all might as well root for Reaves/Rui resigning and developing into cornerstone impact players. I guess in the end the real mistake in 2019 was not going after Jimmy Jordan instead of wasting our time with peg leg. He prolly woulda bullied AD into a great player or onto another roster.

I wonder how Bron feels about AD on some real shyt. Despite our criticisms now, I think even the most vocal critics in this thread wanted to see Bron pull off the fairytale run and really become entrenched in Laker lore. And I think he knows that too. With that said, I really wonder if Bron is done with AD?

The fan base is done, the media is likely done, but is Bron finally done with AD as a teammate? :jbhmm:

Just randomly noticed that Nuggets shot 82% from the line for the series. This season they were just a 75% shooting team.

Just missing a couple more free throws could have completely changed the endings of games 1, 2, and 4.

The negative emotions of losing four straight games badly distort how fukking close this shyt was. One other shot rattles in for one team, one shot rattles out for the other. One more foul gets called on Jokic, one fewer foul on Lonnie. D-Lo shooting anything better than 2-15 from three-point for the series, Bron doing anything better than 0-10 the first two games. The tiniest little shyt and this could have been a 2-2 series so easily.

Exactly why I am a bit upset at mostly everyone on this team because the games were so close.
Bron missed threes, D'lo playing like ass, AD being inconsistent on both ends, Ham rotations, etc :francis:

Nuggets showed up and hit shots when it mattered the most, and got the heart of a champion. I honestly believe this team will be much better next year though, it normally takes playoffs losses for teams and players to become better.

Except for AD, something wrong with breh.

After last night I wouldn’t be surprised if he is. He gave it his all and AD went :unimpressed:
