If even 2020 Bron was out there the Lakers would be up 2-0 in this series. This series is absolutely tailor made for Bron Ball. And you can still see he can get to the rim almost every time...but he can't finish...or go up over the top of dudes like he's done his entire career. That's concerning because something has happened to his jumper. Even a year ago he was 37% from 3....this year he dropped 7% points and was bad from start to finish shooting the rock. I still remember opening night against the Warriors where Bron was bricking 3 after 3. Finished that game 1/8. Been the theme for him all year. So if he can't finish or hit a few jumpers...there is really no path for him to truly dominate a game. All he's got left is his IQ and a few bursts, but that won't be enough to win this series.
Once i saw Murray stop him in the open court late in the 4th i knew the Lakers weren't winning that game. Bron would easily plow through and go up over the top of Murray when he was actually him. It's been weird watching him this playoff run.

People gonna think u trolling but this is the best path moving forward. AD and Bron could get us at least 3 unprotected picks. We continue the youth movement and try to build an organic team that plays hard and eventually we can entice a superstar. But Jeanie will never go for it because she believes in doing right by guys lmao. Rui, Vando, Reaves AD, Lebron- This is the lineup that I am trying to see most of the game. It's honestly the best lineup at this point. If Vando could score it would make it x100 times better.

Defense wasn't the big problem in Game 2, and I don't want Vando anywhere near a closing lineup.
It's asking for trouble because his offensive game is the worst of any player in the playoffs getting minutes. He consistently can't take advantage of the weakest defender on the opposing team.
Not a single offensive possession in the half court has Vando been good with the ball in his hands

oh you're 100% right. forgot he passed after the deal. Jeanie wouldn't have done that deal. She's way too emotional. It's why you might as well just accept that Bron and AD are staying here as long as they want unfortunately.
Idk why you'd want to get rid of Bron and AD.. this team needs a backup big and a legit 3pt shooter or even a legit backup PG ..... That's pretty much it.
For as bad as AD and Bron have played in spurts, we were extremely close to winning on the road against the 3 best home teams in the NBA.
Bron and AD are exerting a lot of energy and minutes because they are having to mask some missing pieces on this team.
I feel like next year is still a very good chance to make a run, but we gotta re-up Reaves, Rui and get a 3pt shooter and big.. they tried with Bamba and Beasley and they are both duds

AD is injury prone and inconsistent
I'm more focused on the future. We need to strike now on our assets. I witnessed this team let Pau leave in free agency instead of trading him at the end of his deal. I said this is the last realistic year of us actually competing for a title with those two. There's just no data or history that shows a near 40 year old and an injury prone center with no perimeter game can lead us a title. You can upgrade your role player all you want, your main guys win championships and they're not good enough. Look at Jokic and the level he's playing at and then look at our guys. It's 3 tiers between them.
I mean this is true (not about the tiers thing). I don't think you'd get the same value if you traded those 2 tho.
Jokic is the best player in the NBA and Bron and AD are top 10 players. There a gap there for sure.
I do think Bron and AD are much need of a backup big and a better PG.
They are one of the top 4 teams in the NBA right now .. you don't get this chance often
