I think if the Lakers advance, Denver is a far tougher matchup than Phoenix would have been. Lakers had multiple bodies to throw at Booker/Durant and better depth.
Jokic is going to pull AD out and keep him from protecting the rim against other players. Then when AD is out of the game, there's really no one to guard Jokic at all. Jokic, Porter, KCP, and Gordon are all hitting their threes right now better than anyone on the Lakers outside of Rui (who hardly takes them), and Murray can go off at any time.
On defense, Nuggets are pretty average but not incompetent. You see what they're doing today against a team with two elite scorers. Right now the Lakers don't have anyone who consistently exploits mismatches.
For the lakers to win, AD has to outplay Jokic and Bron has to have a monster series. I don't see the role players doing enough to win that one.

I dont know about 40. I do believe he's legit going to try to score in the mid 30s. Similar to game 1 and 4. He just had bad shooting nights. Hopefully he can hit half his shots this time + get more ft attempts. Well depending on the game. If DLO is on fire or Reaves is cooking then hell just pick his spots.
