It might be true, but considering the circumstances it definitely reeks of gamesmanship.
The way GSW was playing.. I watched the first half and called it a game... When Wiggins hooked Dennis but Dennis was called for the foul..to me... They were allowing them to be extra physical..but it ended in almost one player being out the series...so now they gotta tighten the calls..which would go against gsw.... I remember LBJ did hurt Wiggins however Wiggins kept playing great that half.. But pointing it out is just to make it look like they were also victims..

He just doesn't want give anything away right? :patrice:
This can't actually be his thought process right?:gucci:

There isn't much he can do outside of bringing in Rui for Vando but then you will be worse defensively. Guys just need to defend better at the end of the day. They have had layup line to the rim last two games. Ham should also be quick with subs if Vando is struggling early on.

The offense goes into the tank when Vando's on the court which hurts the defense because GSW is able to get into transition off LA misses. Kerr has effectively game planned him into irrelevance.

It's 4 on 5 ball but I would say our defense has been a much bigger issue last two games. AD has been getting zero help from perimeter guys, all their guys have been cutting to the rim. If the Lakers defended well, Ham would take him out but its hard to take out one of your few positive defenders.

Better offense will help the defense. He's barely played the last 3 games as it is.

If we win this series, how do we matchup with DEN? I know Joker gonna be an issue.

With all these questions about AD and lineups, probably should focus on the Warriors. :heh:

I think if the Lakers advance, Denver is a far tougher matchup than Phoenix would have been. Lakers had multiple bodies to throw at Booker/Durant and better depth.

Jokic is going to pull AD out and keep him from protecting the rim against other players. Then when AD is out of the game, there's really no one to guard Jokic at all. Jokic, Porter, KCP, and Gordon are all hitting their threes right now better than anyone on the Lakers outside of Rui (who hardly takes them), and Murray can go off at any time.

On defense, Nuggets are pretty average but not incompetent. You see what they're doing today against a team with two elite scorers. Right now the Lakers don't have anyone who consistently exploits mismatches.

For the lakers to win, AD has to outplay Jokic and Bron has to have a monster series. I don't see the role players doing enough to win that one.

The Warriors transition offense killed them more than their half court offense did. Those transition buckets came from turnovers and overall bad offense as a result of Vando shrinking the floor.

The Lakers started the game with a 12 point deficit and started the half on the receiving end of a 9-2 Warriors run.. Those were the only minutes Vando played.
