If the Lakers pull off getting kyrie and Dray withtout gutting there bench then that would be serious. I think Kyrie wouldn’t be a distraction under Bron amd Draymond.

He was a damn distraction under Bron before AND under KD, who was supposed to be his “friend”. And unless Draymond is committed to punching him once per practice I just don’t see how the risk outweighs the reward for Kyrie Irving.

Lets say IF the Lakers win it all this year, whats the next move? Run it back with the exact same squad? Try to flip Reaves & Russell while their stocks are high for someone better or pay them? Try to make a play for Lillard? Take a bet on Kyrie? Does Lebron have surgery on his foot and whats his rehab looking like? Is Anthony Davis now THE indisputable franchise player for better or worse? What does the future look like for Schroeder? Monk? Walker? Hachimura?

If you can get Lillard, I'd trade Russell and Reaves to Portland. If Dallas will do a straight up trade with Russell and Kyrie, I do that too. If neither are options. I re-sign Reaves and Rui. And find a way to trade Malik Beasley (I think we have the option on him) for someone servicable. I also make sure and try to sign Seth Curry.
