What a game brehs. This team is so locked in and there is such great comradery

Love how Ham coached the game tonight. Shouts to Lonnie as well.

Hopefully we don't relax. This Warriors team is capable of winning three straight, and Steph is a bad MF

shyt will get spooky if they find a way to take it to 7, but I think it ends in 6. AD got one more goofy game in him, but I think that's it. Wouldn't be shocked if we get blowed out (word to Emmitt Smith) next game. But it ends at Crypto Game 6.

You right in the fact they can't fukk around. Klay been buns the whole series outside of 1 game, and Poole is due for a good game. Don't need to let the foot off the gas. D-Lo needs to step up. This nikka forgot he's an free agent this summer and messing up his money lookin trash.

A lot of ya'll owe Darvin Ham an apology. He's coaching his ass off this series. Every move Kerr has made, Ham has countered effectively.

Big props to Lonnie Walker. His energy was key into fueling that 4th quarter run. Hopefully he sees more burn.

Props also to Austin Reeves. It didn't feel like it, but he had a solid night shooting the ball.

I'd like to see LeBron with the ball in his hands more. I understand why he wants to play off ball, but his shot is broken and isn't going to be fixed this run.

AD came up huge defensively tonight, especially guarding Steph during the final possessions. Kerr schemed AD out of the game in the 2nd half, but AD did his thing.

If the Lakers can beat the Warriors, they can beat any team. There biggest weakness on Defense is the 3pt shoot. I don't see Denver or Phx giving the Lakers as many problems as the Warriors.

Put Vando on Booker and Hua on KD.
Or Vando on Murray, Davis on Jokic.

Bron might catch hell with Gordon and MPJ. Might have to play Hua more.

I’d be worried about Devin Booker and i’d be slightly less worried about MPJ.

Booker is THRIVING alongside Durant. Every game he heats up to the point where i’m expecting him to legit drop 60 before the playoffs are over. He needs to be contained and he needs to be contained CONSISTENTLY from game to game because he’s good enough to get at least 2 W’s by himself. Not to mention KD is getting more comfortable as he continues to play himself into shape. If Phoenix gets passed Denver they’re confidence will be at an all time high. Can’t underestimate them.

With MPJ, once he hits his rhythm thats a bad boy. The European is going to get his no matter what, if I were Ham i’d let him get his 30-10-8 and focus on shutting down MPJ to the point where he can’t get comfortable and get in zone, also make sure Gordon can’t get to that point where he bails them out.

I actually think Denver is a better match up.

Naw I definitely gotta give it up to Ham. He’s not been perfect but he’s been sensational in this series. Someone I think in this thread or the series thread said it best, Ham is a leader and it shows in how this team has responded time and time again.

LWO brehs are children of the Kobe era so job’s not finished. But IF we do manage to win it all then I believe this will be a defining championship for LeBron with regards to his tenure here. For me at least, this will be up there with the 2010 title run in terms of how gutsy it would be. I’d only put 2010 over it because it was a revenge series AND a legacy series against the C’s.

I’m super cautious right now because we’ve seen 3-1 leads get squandered but sky’s the limit if we get through this series and a lot of us, myself included, are gonna have to give Bron, AD, and Ham their just due. Especially if we do manage to win it all. This is all the real Laker brehs have ever wanted to give Bron that acceptance. He doesn’t have to be Kobe. Just lay it all on the line and beat the odds because that’s what GOAT franchise legends do.

Real talk, this shyt is pretty unbelievable considering where we were in the beginning…:wow:

The interesting next question for Ham is what do you now do with Lonnie and his minutes? Does he eat into some of Dennis time? Vando only played 11 minutes last night ..does that continue? Do you sit DLo down if he’s missing shots? That will be interesting to watch

I hope tomorrow that Lebron and crew go in with the intent to KILL like never before. End this shyt and allow yourself as much rest as possible. Lebron definitely needs it, AS needs it, because whether Denver or Phoenix, they gonna be playing HEAVY minutes.

I know everyone is high on Walker, but i’d still use him sparingly as spark plug to ease him into the rotation so if the going gets tough and he’s called upon to take a larger role he’s got the reps in.

I think Lonnie eats into DLO and Reaves minutes. Reaves looks a lot fresher playing less minutes.

I don't think Vando will get many minutes going forward since Dennis has been effective on Curry. Vando played 11 minutes last night and had two turnovers. Dude probably had what, 5-7 touches max in the game? And two of them resulted in turnovers. No other player on the team finished with more than three despite being on the ball more than Vando. Great defensive player but far too limited offensively.

To calm everyones nerves lets have some fun

Playing a game of hypothetical…

Lets say IF the Lakers win it all this year, whats the next move? Run it back with the exact same squad? Try to flip Reaves & Russell while their stocks are high for someone better or pay them? Try to make a play for Lillard? Take a bet on Kyrie? Does Lebron have surgery on his foot and whats his rehab looking like? Is Anthony Davis now THE indisputable franchise player for better or worse? What does the future look like for Schroeder? Monk? Walker? Hachimura?

Reaves is a FA
Keep DLo
Lebron has surgery. He's gonna miss 40+ games anyways
Sign Rui
Keep Dennis

Just run it back. Last time we tried being cute and derailed the roster after the bubble and it cost us for 2 years.

Honestly, with AD's health and Bron's age, you pretty much gotta ride it out.

We need a backup 5 and try to sign Draymond to play the 4 and bring Vando off the bench.
