Not to mention since 2011 (time both have spent in the league) Cam has finished ahead of Flacco most passing categories.

I was actually marveling at how quickly Cam is average and XYZ QB is better because whatever receiver is doing turned into "I don't care about these things because I've been proven wrong, prove Cam isn't average".

Is cam average or not? I contend that he is. His stats prove that he is a middle of the road QB. his career winning percentage isn't great either. We can talk about weapons and context but fact is there are plenty of qbs with their own personal handicaps who perform better than cam regularly whether it be statistically or by number of games won. Flacco happens to be one of those guys. Again, no one that knows football is taking cam over Flacco if they are building a team and want a proven winning qb. U can't argue against that

Manning Brees Brady rivers Rodgers Roethlisberger Wilson luck Romo are all better than him and arguments can be made for second tier guys like Matt ryan, Carson palmer and Matt Stafford. There are 32 staring qbs. You can't be number 12 or 13 and be considered anything but average. You are middle of the pack

Based on what? You can't put someone in the top ten that's not even finishing there in passing statistics which are the barometer for a qbs effectiveness. That doesn't make sense. The ten guys I listed are at the top year in and year out across the board in passing categories. Cam has never been there save for once. How can u include him with those ten?
