@areohbee82 put me on to a dope podcast where Con was saying after getting shot in that 2015-2017 / Reject 2 through GOAT era, he rapped way more slower beats compared to now, because he wasn't as comfortable after the injury rapping at a faster pace with his face and mouth all fukked up. Then he started getting more confident rapping at different tempos, and over more different types of beats.

I thought that was a dope story.

Conway the Machine - DAFUKUMEAN? (podcast)
Reject 2 his overall best release IMO

That’s Conway at his best with those Daringer beats.

No doubt. If it makes you feel any better, GDMM dropping in June, Daringer has more beats on there than any other producer. And they aren't co-produced by Beat Butcha. So it'll be the most Conway and Daringer joints together since I wanna say either Blakk Tape or Everybody's Food. :jbhmm:

Yeah, it's been a long time since he got Daringer for more than 2 or 3 beats on a project. Daringer isn't even my favorite producer, but I do like their chemistry. :dame:

If you've been fiending for some Conway and Daringer :dame: then check out these 2 joints from 2020, Sign Language, and Smoke. A lot of people missed them because they were looses. I'm also posting down below a new freestyle with Conway and Roc Marci produced by Alchemist.

Apparently GDMM is July now, Conway mentions it in this interview

Conway The Machine And DJ First Class Talk 'La Maquina', J.I.D. And Ludacris Collaboration And More — DJ First Class

That smoke joint is nice! Hadn’t heard that before, don’t suppose you have a loosies comp?

Play every joint off your album on IG Live & then take forever to drop the album Brehs :blessed:

@LJLYDK! I don't have a loosies comp, but I can put one together.

@Heavy_Handz :heh::heh: right?

I'm not that mad at the GDMM wait ya'll. I'd rather get it how it is than have it be a bunch of WWCD/WMTS style sample-free boring ass beats. Getting the samples and features cleared took forever.

Where Conway really fukked up is he did what Evidence did with Cats & Dogs back in 2010 and 2011. Throughout those 2 years, Ev kept throwing out potential months as a "good guess" on when the album might drop, and he ended up being wrong like 6 times. Ever since then, Evidence promised to never say a release month until the pre-order link was fully live and launched.

Honestly, GDMM has only been pushed back one time. It had a release date of February 12, 2021, and it got delayed. Conway talked all the time about it coming out this month, that month, etc, and he should've just stayed quiet, and said it'll be ready when it's ready. I think a lot less people would be annoyed if he'd just done that.
:hubie:

He's been mad cool to people in the comments though. Fans been trashing him on IG the past week saying it'd never coming out, why's he dropping La Maquina instead, etc, and instead of flying off the handle and blocking people like he's done in the past, he's just been politely saying that it's finally turned in, mixed, getting mastered, and it'll be out June/July, and that he's sorry for the wait.

I think it's a good look for him to finally not be overly defensive. :manny:

King to a God and this latest project are probably the most replayable Conway projects since his initial run from Reject 2 to G.O.A.T

only song I don’t like on this is that KD joint. Con’s hooks are still more miss than hit

7xvetheGenius and Skeese have a lot of potential. Sister Abigail is the clear standout on here.

edit:

I don’t like the Daringer joint either
