to me its hard to say who is actually better. they both have their moments. when they started getting known and doing those freestyles, Benny just went nuts. he was just more aggressive, passionate and authoritative. so people clung to him easy. I was never impressed with Conway when he was only doing them slow drab beats...I was fukking with WSG first. So to me he was the weak link for a while...then when he started to get on different tracks/production and more uptempo beats, thats when he showed how effortless his flow was. when you rap over the same stuff all the time its easy to get put in a box and hard for people to see how you can really get down. to me, skillwise its close, but even if I gave the nod to Con, his projects havent been consistent like Benny and that could be a difference of Benny not dropping so much and being more selective with his releases.
I can respect that but Conway has more then enough good projects and u can easily decipher which ones are the throwaway mixtapes and the real quality shyt. Also Conway still has an overall better discography. I remember ppl went crazy over plugs I met which was a classic ep. Conway has classic eps too. Reject 2 is the best gxfr tape/ep of all time. Conway started this shyt and the reason why I even listen to griselda in the first place. I wouldn’t even listen to wsg if it wasn’t for him. Benny would prolly be making generic trap songs if it wasn’t for this griselda shyt. Honestly just off skill if u listen to 94 ghost shyt Benny doesn’t have the Arsenal of flows to fukk with that monster and that’s ok.... that hit boy albums alright but it’s not that great for replay value, fktg is way better it’s not even close its 5 mic certified. Benny does sometimes have the better bars and the better verse. What I agree on is that benny waits times between his releases and that makes him more consistent as far as projects go. Although at the end of the day as long as the great albums/tapes are released in the year it doesn’t really matter to me if there was some mediocre projects in between. I’ll just listen to the couple of songs off those, like I did with this album (if it bleeds it can be killed) and listen to the really dope projects that I like(fktg, lulu). Now if there wasn’t any more dope projects coming out and if it bleeds it can be killed was the full course meal then it wouldn’t be a good look and a falloff would be in play! I’m honestly happy that Benny leveled up from tana talk 3 we got so much classic shyt because of it . Again I’m a fan of the whole gxfr shyt so I’m not hating I’m just calling it how I see it breh! Top 4 griselda releases are in no order flygod, tt3, fktg, reject 2. Gdmm might fukk around and be a classic that’d be two “classic albums” in a row.

I just think big Ghost is kind of like a slightly less dope version of a sound he’s already done a lot with Daringer.

It just blows my mind that cats like Khrysis have done Jesus Khrysis and Proud of Me, 2 of his best songs, and he’s dropping full projects with big Ghost instead.

I’m not mad at it. But as far as full producer collabs go, I think Conway has moved beyond the talent level of a big Ghost as of now.

Your right...he is beyond that level....but Con is showing loyatly to BigGhost which is admirable. BigGhost actually drops a few projects a year. He is definitely cliq'ed in with Rochester (Spesh and Da Cloth), so these lil Machine projects definitely helps him eat and be able to fund more shyt.

Oh I definitely think the loyalty is dope. I agree with you there. Ghost helped Conway too now that I think about it. A lot of producers and rappers that work with Conway now/worked with him early got put on through Griselda Ghost.

Yea I don't understand how people can say what he said when Conway just released one of if not one of the best projects of the year less than 6 months ago.
This is one of the reasons why Griselda needs to stop dropping so frequently and let projects marinate. Nobody would have shyt to say if FKTG was his last release
