Soulseek still exists? :ohhh:

Forget FKTG happened, brehs
Yeah these little 48 hour recorded projects are cool from certain rappers. But with someone that’s got as much lyricism combined with truly great song-writing potential like Conway, I’d rather him just drop more focused projects, even if it means they take longer to cook up. I’m willing to wait longer for FKTAG and GDMM quality material.

Most don’t wanna give con his props instead it’s all about how bennys better but that def isn’t the case. Sooner or later wen ppl get sick of Benny same things gona happen. I’m beginning to think some ppl “not all” just say bennys better because he’s more marketable. Bennys def one of the top rappers but Conways just better and I been saying this and I have no reason to have a different change of thought.

original J Batters beat @Heavy_Handz @Xtz23 ... I think I like it more but I also like the sample we got because Royce murdered that shyt years back.

original J Batters

Royce joint

J Batters remix

Your right the og sounds better.
Honestly bro big ghost is big let down most of the times. He adds some corny/or not good sounds in his beats and his shyt comes off mad generic. Although he can produce a good beat sometimes but hes real inconsistent in the grand scheme of things. Griselda ghost was the only project I liked produced by him.

I keep thinking the sample is from The Untouchables movie but it's some disco song. I've heard it when checking out Royce samples

to me its hard to say who is actually better. they both have their moments. when they started getting known and doing those freestyles, Benny just went nuts. he was just more aggressive, passionate and authoritative. so people clung to him easy. I was never impressed with Conway when he was only doing them slow drab beats...I was fukking with WSG first. So to me he was the weak link for a while...then when he started to get on different tracks/production and more uptempo beats, thats when he showed how effortless his flow was. when you rap over the same stuff all the time its easy to get put in a box and hard for people to see how you can really get down. to me, skillwise its close, but even if I gave the nod to Con, his projects havent been consistent like Benny and that could be a difference of Benny not dropping so much and being more selective with his releases.

you know I was saying this a few projects ago and totally agree. Plus, he runs the risk of people feeling like this.

and that’s a way to burnout quick. I keep saying, Benny has the best formula right now. He was releasing mixtapes heavy from the ‘07 until around the time he linked with Roc Nation and started growing a real buzz. Now he’s slowed that shyt down. Make em hungry to hear u.
